    Excellently done job! Your word count is so high. It's unbelievable. I've never reached near that in such a short time frame.
    It's really just fantastic.

      My availability with my job certainly helped, but it was also just putting the time towards it that helped me get it done!

    Congratulations on reaching 75 000 words in the rewrite. The amount of effort you have put in consistently over the rest of January is extremely impressive. Also, I like sitting on the floor, too. The burnt pancake celebration was hilarious. Looking forward to seeing how you progress with the remainder of this rewrite.

    I am sooo mad that I didn't watch this video sooner but I am so happy I finally got to! Congratulations!!!!!! This is just absolutely awesome and really inspiring, I don’t think anyone i know has ever just written 6,000 words ina day unless it was a 10k day. Do you think you might ever try a 10k day because that would be a really fun video! And yay Beta readers that's so fun!!

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  3 года назад

      Thank you, Gio!! The best part is that it was an accidental 6k day. I would like to try to do a 10k day at some point but considering I tend to get less than 3000 a day, it will probably have to be an impromptu one on a day where writing is going really well. But maybe at somepoint!

    Also, I want to apologize for dropping off as I did with comments. Had some life/story stuff go down (My story blew up again, and I'm... refiguring that now. Heh.). Still continuing to watch your videos, and they are quite encouraging. I wish you the best going forward, and will pop in when I can :)

      You're welcome!
      Yeah; everything is fine and most of it (except the story stuff :P) was somewhat expected; everything just kinda hit me at once, and I had to pull back from things for a bit.
      Story stuff seems to be going smoothly, except it's probably going to be a shorter series than intended. But at the same time, there might be an opening to a sequel series (is that a thing? XD) with a bit of shuffling of MCs. I'll be back to writing in a week or two, I'm guessing.

    Hi Sara. I just found your channel a few days ago and loving what I am seeing.
    Also do you have any tips on getting myself motivated enough to write. I never seem to want to. I think I am in a writing slump.
    Your word count is amazing in such a short space of time. Making room on my bookshelf for your book.

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  3 года назад

      Hi Meenakshi! Welcome! I would say picturing the bigger picture about what you're trying to accomplish is a good way to start. Think about the story you're writing and daydream. Allow yourself to get excited. You can brainstorm with Pinterest boards to get the idea really flowing.
      Then try to write at least a sentence a day because progress is progress and it will start to form a habit, and some days you'll want to write more than that one sentence!

    You doing some math is me calculating my essays 😂 so relatable!!! Love seeing your progress!! congratulations on completing your goal!
    As a writer how do you do your research? Do you do research at all? if so do you have any tips in how to include research in your writing and doing it without info-dump?
    Whenever I try to write, I always end up doing research and not writing anything at all, I have this idea that without completing my research I cannot start writing, 😅
    do you have any tips?

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  3 года назад +1

      Thank you, Elena!
      I research fighting techniques and other random tidbits. Try to make the research as seamless with your writing as possible, like use it to add depth to sentences but I choose not to just give extensive research in my writing. It's a tool to amplify. If you have an idea you can't start without researching, give yourself a goal deadline to finish all of your research by, but also keep it as minimal as possible like a week (if it's a lot of research) that way you learn what you need to learn without overwhelming yourself. I would say try to base your knowledge in as few facts as possible, like when you find an answer, stop researching the question because otherwise you'll be researching forever. Good luck and happy writing!

    hi! congrats! that's so dope!! this was a fun video to watch. just a small suggestion as i'm someone who is not good with big numbers 😂 the next time you make a video like this, maybe on the right hand side of the video you could write something like 45632 of 75000 words something like that? for some reason when someone says a really big number out loud i just can't compute lol

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  3 года назад

      That's a great idea! Thank you for your suggestion! I did start like halfway through the video filming the wordcount itself but I think in the future I will try to do something more consistently. Thanks, Kiran!!
