    Such an excellent video...have both a Resistance 9 & a Dual-Lok 7 coming soon. Found the video to be very helpful in understanding all the options associated with the suppressor!!

    So if my the spring in my can fails to push the can back forward, is that a break in process or does the oring need some lubricant?

    I like this product and I am considering purchasing my first supressor, My question is which one can I purchase to service my 9mm, , 30-06, AR10 308 and AR15 5.56?

      We recommend looking into the Optimus 9! That'll be your one-and-done universal suppressor that works wonders on all of those platforms. Modular, user-serviceable, and best tuned for pistols and rifles!

      Would a Griffin Armament Resistance 45 or Griffin Armament Revolution 45 work as well, as I am considering cost to buy all attachments and tax stamp ? @@GriffinArmamentOfficial

      The Bushwhacker 36 is your next best option! It's currently on sale this month and is only $100 more than the Res/Rev 45. You're going to want to choose either the Optimus or Bushwhacker models if you're running on rifle platforms, being that it's full 17-4 stainless steel for better durability and still maintains modularity and serviceability.

    Would it be worth upgrading the octane 9 and 45 to the Griffin baffle system? Is there a DB advantage? I already use your Pistons end caps and accessories.

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  Год назад

      Absolutely! Our ECO-FLOW baffles provide structural strength, reduced back pressure, and great sound pressure reduction. We've had many customers swap out their baffle systems with ECO-FLOW. Whether or not it suits what you're looking for is ultimately your decision, but there's more info here:

      I have a CZ scorpion, an Aero EPC-9, and several 9mm pistols. Would this suppressor support all of them?

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, with the correct mounting configuration, the Resistance 9 should fit all of your 9mm pistols. Check out our digital manual regarding mounting options and configurations:

    Can you still use the same cam lok system on Beretta 92, that you would use on a browning tilting barrel pistol?

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  5 месяцев назад

      The use of a booster assembly on the Beretta 92 series can be a bit of a tricky question. It comes down to your specific Beretta 92 series pistol. With lighter suppressors like our Revolution and Resistance series, you can typically get away with unboosted use. With heavier suppressors like our Bushwhacker and Optimus, you will most likely need to use a booster assembly. Beretta 92 variants will typically tolerate ~6.5 ounces of weight before it begins to affect cycling. If your Beretta 92 firearms have been modified for unboosted use by lightening the hammer and recoil spring, you will want to use a fixed barrel mounting option. When using CAM-LOK on 9mm hosts, you can use a fixed barrel spacer or a CAM-LOK fixed mount. If your particular firearm has factory weight springs, it will typically be fine to use with the booster assembly. If the firearm has lightened springs to function unboosted, the use of a booster assembly will tend to cause more wear on your firearm.

      @@GriffinArmamentOfficialfollow up to this for anyone interested. The 92 functioned fine unboosted, but didn't like the 147 grain subsonics... cycled perfectly with the standard velocity and weight loads but would stovepipe with the heavier stuff. FYI.

    Lots of options, UNLESS your barrel is threaded in .578x28, then it’s 1980s technology with either a Tri lug or a direct thread, or I can buy a 9mm minimalist flash hider, chuck it in a lathe and do the threading myself and reaming myself to make it compatible with the Dual-Lok. CMMG is one of the most popular platforms for modern PCCs but you’re completely ignoring that market as both their 10mm and .45 ACP barrels are threaded in .578x28.
    Griffin did give me a solution, use the Plan A that threads into the booster housing and then mounting a tapered mount minimalist flash hider. It’s kind of an odd way to get from A to B, but it sounds like it’ll work for me.
