My grandfather born in 1896 and living in Indiana told me of rolling over outhouses with occupant inside. He was in his 80's when he finally revealed this. I had my own Halloween pranks but nothing as big as his misdeeds. I always avoided property damage as well as anything traumatic, as I might get caught and have to pay for it.
My uncle's were born in the teens, they said they didn't tip over out houses. They moved them enough to expose the hole, when someone went to use they dropped in. Also tripping the trolley..
I worked in a nursing home for years. Around Halloween one year. I was asking all the residents what their Halloween traditions were as a kid. There was one lady she was 101 and was from Texas. She told me she didn't know what Halloween was until she was 15 and her cousins from the city came out to her farm and were asking about going trick or treating in October. She says her and her siblings thought her cousins were making it up that there was no way you would just go up to random people's houses dressed in funny costumes and people would give you free candy. She didn't experience her first Halloween until she was 19 or 20 and in college.
I am sure you've heard this before but your narrations are truly engaging! Especially as of late... with the well written introductions to your uploads. Great content! Your channel deserves to grow. Bravo!
My bio dad was second generation Scot, my great grandparents were from Glasgow and so were my great grandparents on my granny's side, if I remember right, my dad was the second to marry a non-Scottish girl, my mom was Native American, so I'm Native American and Scottish
I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon such a well executed treat. The combination of imagery & symbolism is astonishingly 'phantasmagoric.' ...lol... I learned a new word! ...BRAVO, it's so well done, I saved it! Thank you & Happy Halloween!🌘
