Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has announced plans to create a new microstate within his country's capital, Tirana. The state will be modelled on Vatican City. It will become a sovereign state for an Islamic Mystic Sufi Sect called the Bektashi Order. The Bektashis are known for their religious tolerance and devotion to dervishes. Rama says the new state will be a centre of moderation and peaceful coexistence. But there is already pushback against this plan by Albanian Muslims and Turkish Bektashis.

Montenegrins are not Muslims. It's the Bosniak and Albanian population living in Montenegro that are Muslim minorities. On the other hand, Muslim Albanians are the majority in Kosovo. Also, this little project is heavily supported by the American and Israeli establishment because of their geopolitical alliance with Albania. Bosniaks, not so much.
