Lovely cruise and vlog. You’re one of the originals I watched when I started looking at canal life. So many for one reason or another have stopped boating. You do have over 10k subscribers something I can only dream about lol. But that’s an awesome achievement. Hopefully, you and Nicki will be able to figure something out so that you can continue to enjoy your boating life and share with viewers. we did enjoy it thank you Gary. am sorry that you might need to find a job on land - and also can't understand why the channel isn't growing - have been watching from the beginning and love it. must admit youtube wasn't showing me this vlog when I looked for it - and usually you're first up in my face on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. even when I looked on your list of videos this one didn't come up tho I knew from fb that you had put one out. we'll all have to keep in touch via facebook if you do shut youtube. there is a family of homeschoolers on the cut I've recntly started watching and they survive by posting on fb rather than making vlogs - much less stress to write a few paragraphs than make and edit a vlog. I think. wishing you all the best and a life without stress whatever you decide.
How strange, my fathers home which had been in the family by then 2 generations, in Cape Town, was called “Little Bourton” The settlers in the “new world “ brought all their English memories with them. Nice vlog. Thank you.
Evening Gary, Nikki and 'the crew' YT is getting harder especially as there are more and more narrowboat channels starting up. Its a full time job, filming, editing, promoting and all the other jobs that go with keeping a channel moving. Social media is also a key to boosting 👀 views. Don't knock yourself out buddy. Do whatever you're comfortable with. Family comes first 👍

Sometimes I want to give but all up as it’s a tie , but after a rest I’m ok with it again . I know if I stopped I’d regret it . I think you need a holiday and a rest to pep you up xx 💋 ❤️
You both create some lovely content. The channel should be better supported based upon the effort you both put in but the most important thing is the children and your happiness so you must base your decision on that . That's for the very many years of entertaining journeys and keeping me going during the lock downs. Take care

But I do not intend to add to your pressure by saying that. I'm going to try to will you to the next level of success, so you can continue what you do so well. I will certainly try to continue to do the vlogs but I really need the channel to grow. If it grows it will ensure a more secure life, the cost of living over here has gone through the roof which basically means we're less stable every month. A permanent job would change all this and make us more stable. Nicky was mostly a dental nurse which would prove difficult to get back in to
Good evening to you all . I was born and brought up on a boat. But my mum insisted i went to high school. I married and brought up our two children up on a boat in the eighties but we obtained a house boat licence so both our kids could get high school education (although my wife is a qualified teacher) . It will a hard decision for you all but i am sure you will do the right thing
I understand that life changes mean circumstances mean changes too . But we would be really upset if you gave up this channel . It’s def one of the best if not THE BEST . It’s so professionally done all your vlogs and the format superb . We have followed you from the start , through all your ups and downs .we absolutely love them . How times have changed, when we used to moor in Banbury every boat had to be padlocked and chained to the bollards. This was because of feral youths slipping your ropes in the middle of the night. No police or wardens in those days.
It feels like the start of a long goodbye. Just a thought , what about using Nicky's boat and starting up as traders? One boat to live on and one to be your stall/shop🤔 Gotta be better than being at someone elses beck and call.

Hi Terence, livestreams can be a nightmare to set up. You need someone to monitor the comments etc also you need an excellent WiFi connection, perhaps one day bud
I have been wondering what happened to Nikki's boat ? I might have missed a vlog but the last I saw was that she had put it into a marina before coming onto Chugabug . Has Secret been sold ? I was wondering where Noah and Lillie were sleeping camping out on the dinette table or sofa is not really good for the long term as they do need some private space particularly with increased schooling work load.

Nickys boat got sold nearly 2yrs ago now. Lol the little ones have their own beds
