I don't think he will save the housing market but even though prices in housing have been declining the stock market keeps going up because of rotating sector recession. This in conjunction with money printing could steer us to the landing we are looking for. Little recessions per sector at a time. We are currently seeing it in healthcare and had it in oil. Money printing has prevented from a all out all sector selloff.

It seems like the best tariff policy is reciprocity. I think China is already putting huge tariffs on US companies, so we should match those 1-1. Level playing field. I don't think we should necessarily penalize other countries, but if they have slave labor we can't compete with, or for national defense, maybe we want to make it prohibitively competitive.
If White House works for the people, which they should, every body will be happy and will have a solid and strong country. No other country has the ball to travel 2 Ocean and tries to hit us at all, so we need to put all our effort to fix this broken country other than that we will be dumd.
