Its definitely up there with the classics like Starwars, Godfather, IndiaJones. Believe when i say that future generations will be coming back to these films to see not how comic book movies should be made but a great example how how a movie should be made.

hawekeye1 I agree to a certain degree. Joker though stole the whole thing when he was introduced. Beyond amazing acting. Tom Hardy though doesnt get enough credit though for his role.

Has to be the most hype creating and epic film of all time. The music, Bane, Batman. This is epic af. Still gives me goosebumps to this day. The scene of the fight between the police army and Banes army. Now this is a movie my friends, everything about tdkr was incredible.

I often watch movies with my uncle. He does not love any kind of fantasy/marvel stuff. When I offered him Batman Dark Knight, he said "Hell no" and then I explained that this is something different. Forget about super heroes. You will like it. When movie was finished, he was sitting for around 10 minutes, looking and "far away" trying to understand the deep philosophy of movie. Later he gladly agreed to watch 3rd part and liked that one as well. Nolan, is genius!
I can relate my situation in life, I feel anger. Not on anyone. With the music I was able to funnel it all out in my muscles at the gym. I did 120 declined push ups and could go more. My original count is 100. But I realized I can use anger and channelize it to achieve anything in life. Push beyond limits with anger.

Bane was my favourite villain in the trilogy but I can't quite explain why. I think I liked the idea of a villain who was both a mental and physical match for Batman and really pushed Batman/Bruce to his limits. Amazing set of films, loved every minute of them.

Heath Ledger is dead, so the Joker never appeared in Rises.
Scarecrow was in the start of the movie and the joker wasn't due to his death

Out of the 3 movies, i always found The Dark Knight the weakest and more irreverent, if you think about it, joker was more of a fan demand, and didnt tie in to ras al ghul's plan to take over gotham, also its the one where bruce doesnt really learn much as a person, in begins he learned to master his own fear and become the batman, in Rises he learns to rise from the hellish prison
+Caius Ballad in the Dark Knight he learns that ideas are more important than heroes. A bigger lesson than rising from a hellish prison, saying this, I don´t think rising from a hellish prison is the main point of rises.
Hmm? Joker was hinted heavily on the end of Begins so fan demand? Also if Heath Ledger was still alive for Rises, it was already planned that the Joker would have a part on it but sadly he was gone. In my opinion, The Dark Knight was the high point of the trilogy. My reasonings are already explained by most critics so I don't think I need to tell you. But to sum it up though, it was absolutely unique and all around gripping and just one awesome movie in general. I honestly disagree if a movie is weaker when the main character doesn't "learn" something, that doesn't really make some sense to me. A movie can be just as awesome focusing on the main character's struggles, conflicts and character's decisions ... And acting, story, awesome screenplay, so on and so forth, which TDK did magnificently.
