Hi, can anyone please share their cura/slicer software settings. I’m kinda new to this printer and wanted to know if anyone found the perfect settings for layer height, speed, everything.
I have a doubt in the minute 5:14 did you put the nozzle against the platform with no gap or only need to be leveled with the others corners with the same gap?
-0.45 is okay. Btw, you're welcome to join us in our FB group that could access to our support team in a more quick and convenient way. facebook.com/groups/anet3dprintersupport/
@@cometsan1644 Make sure there is a small gap between the tip of the nozzle and the top of the build plate for you to place a sheet of A4 paper in between of them.
I have a problem in the very first leveling. When a do the "autohome" the z axis moves doing two touches in the en sensor un after that It collides with the upper frame, producing a strange sound... I Hope someone can help please!
I had the same problem. I think that is because the levelling is not done right in this video. Use this video instead: ruclips.net/video/wzhjyUGtKXM/видео.html. That was very clear and helped me get my first print with the ET4.
dont buy rippoffs and buy the original! everyone has some problems with this printer. you will not recieve this printer without any problems, there is always going to be a problem. buy the original one from czechia, that one is good. i have mine for a year now without any problems.
I can tell you I am working on a pros and cons video on it. But I am very skeptical by just looking at the components in this instructional video. This may be a shameless plot but look at the concerns you should have about buying a 3d printer. i think this playlist of my videos covers well what you may need to know before buying a 3D printer.
@@RoamingInterests I just set mine up today. Very impressed on how everything is working. However.....it seems to not read the SD card and I cannot figure out how to send a print through the USB. Not sure if its the main board or I'm doing something wrong.
@@GrowlsGarage i was not expecting to have issues wit reading the sd card, I was more concerned with the actual components of making the printer print quality walls. However you said everything is great, if the sd card is not working, did you hook it up directly to the computer, and print your model from the slicer directly? I was skeptical about the extruder or the hrdware properly finctioning during prints, how did you get it to print?
@@RoamingInterests Yes everything is working great. You just have to have the SD card in when you boot the printer.....However I now have it all hooked up and I am printing through Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi 3b+..So I am not using the SD card really. My first print was of the boat and generic PLA.....it stopped midway through for some odd reason. The 2nd print of the boat completed and was OK but not great. It stuck to the glass bed like super glue and I actually damaged it trying to pry it off. I upgraded the bed to a Ender magnet one....Did a test print on that and adjusted the quality settings a bit....and it came out much better. I purchased this for $199....I had been going back and forth on this and the Pursa....but at $800 your talking about a $600 difference......so even if this does not so much work out in the end it gets me some better experience with 3D printing, and Octoprint at only $200.....My next test print is with Hatchbox PLA which I think will come out better.
@@GrowlsGarage I am curious because I made a vid on it without owning it. so Someone commented that, I just needed validation if I was right or wrong on harping on the features that were evidently lacking. So I was interested in it's print quality and dependability for long 3d prints. So the only thing I have against Prusa is the volume. I did not get the Prusa because I got the two trees sapphire as a small volume 3d printer and that was enough. I feel that this will perfom close to prusa quality but at price 50% less.

I think the video here is wrong about the levelling. Check this video out instead: ruclips.net/video/wzhjyUGtKXM/видео.html. (It's not mine, it just helped me understand the levelling and get my first print). Cheers
can you please update your video I have the newest version of your printer and it does not have this stuff on it

It only means move downward of 0.45cm.

Mine doesn't do that bouncy thing at 7:23 when I tried to auto leveling. It just goes down and stops at the center. Anyone knows why?
EMPTY same by me
