.... Yea, I am following you all over the place. I am growing with real-world data and you are making sense!

You will stay in tutorial hell until you start building. I can relate to this. Thanks for this awesome video

Loved this video, thanks man. I'd love to know more about exactly how you use python for work with examples and how you'd recommend learning it specifically for data analysis?

Thanks for the kind words. A great place to practice python for data analysis free of charge for the most part is using datacamp (I've added a link in the description). The most often use cases is for more advanced data analysis work like predictive analysis piece of work (so example linear regression and time forecasting) which also starts to seep into the data science role. However most often as an analyst you will use it to make your life easier interacting with csv files, spreadsheets and sometimes databases to do repeatable work via scripts you write using relevant data science libraries pandas matplotlib etc. Hope this provides some insight.

    I have a few questions.
    1. So you said that the core Python Libraries to work with are Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib? So I should first focus on learning these 3 and then branch out on a need basis for a project or if I want to specialize in other things like machine learning, NLP, etc.?
    2. Data analysis in Python is more Functional Programming than OOP? So OOP isn't as important to learn unless you are attempting to make something more complex?

Great questions - 1) yeah these are core if you learn this and maybe add seaborn (similar to matplotlib) but you get additional options on your visuals etc. This will cover you for 80% of things you need to do with python tbh especially at early stages of your career.
      2) I’m by no means an OOP expert (not even close - learned the basics when I was more into software engineering and was trying to learn Java) but yeah for most situations you wont need OOP. It’s good for very complex projects, repeatable/reusable components, building apps that a good example of this could be an app for fraud detection, here it would be 100% recommended to do so. Overall learn how to create a class (fundamental to OOP) That’s all you need for now.
      Hope this all helps.

Hi there I want to get into an entry level job. I am at my last semester of btech cse but I don’t have any skills of data except some basics of python and using some of the functions of numpy, pandas, matplotlib and seaborn.
Now I am more interested in excel and power bi so I want to know how much skills I require to get a job. My semester exams wil come after 4 months and I need to prepare for it as well. Good thing is the syllabus is small.
I hope you give me some tips. Thanks.

If you go through the courses mentioned specifically for Power BI and Excel they can provide the help you need but you also need to factor in SQL as its very important as a data analyst. Use the resources mentioned plus other provided by other creators and you should be well equipped in terms of what you need to learn.
      Hope this helps

hey I have been learning data analyst for a long time
and now I am practicing excel, sql
and then I am gonna revise the tableau.
then i am gonna build the project to add it on my resume
Ii am leaving Python for now cus many of them said I don't need Python a a beginner I can learn it m after.
    what do you say?

    • @UnorthodoxChange
      @UnorthodoxChange  Год назад +2

While its true you shouldn’t need python as a beginner and if I’m being completely honest wont have to use it as much as SQL, a BI tool or Excel for most roles with the current job market being horrible you want to showcase as much skill as possible to separate yourself from others (making it easier to get a job) so learn the others as a priority but deffo make sure python is included somewhere on your roadmap so you can at least be aware of the libraries used etc when potentially questioned in your interviews.
      Good luck 👌🏾
