    Plant a garden in your back yard. That’s what people did BEFORE they begin depending on grocery stores.

    This would never happened if they allowed mix used zoning. Lost of smaller food stores spread across the neighborhood would be more sustainable than having a one big store. Change the zoning laws, and amenities will come.
