      I think he meant those who literally just jumped in the 3D modeling for the first time.

    first time modelling a character with a very limited amount of knowledge in blender, and i'm following the tutorial with a custom made reference made by me for a character of my own (not even using the base). even with this tutorial being focused on making Love-chan, i'm getting great results so far! waiting for the next one!!

    When mirroring objects it's easier to check the "clipping" toggle box in the modifier's tab. This prevents the mesh from folding in on itself.

    Dude i love your energy, best tutorial I've ever had in blender. This is coming from someone who just gave up once opening the software. Good shit big bro 💜

    One thing I found that helps with keeping a hole from forming down the middle, is clicking clipping when adding the mirror modifier. It makes them stay together :)

    These are such wonderful tutorials, I finished the 3D animation playlist and going though these now and feel confident to go through my own animated series. Have been putting of learning animation for almost a year and finally this course really helped. Thank you so much
    suggestion: would have loved an in-depth on animating with audio(maybe it is present in the upcoming videos). this would show an end-to-end animation experience.

    This course is awesome so far! I am very new to all this and I was wondering if there was a specific reason to follow the face template so closely or not. Thank you so much for all your time and effort!

    0:04 we as in... You got a gang who helped you make the keybind reference sheet?
    8:36 Outsmarted ya using the knife tool on the edge of that one tri-gon instead of on the face(to avoid creating dual tris)! Big W. Totally noteworthy to put here(not. Just for the lols :) since I have OCD... "why am I still here, just to suffer" ahhh metal gear solid meme! DNA of the soul! AHHH-). Unrelated; Spent longer on the video than I wouldv'e liked to because my headphones decide to keep reconnecting & disconnecting to my PC. Truly, karma Crashune. Related; Just found an extra vertex somewhere completely different - next to the vertex on the... far right side of the cheek, heck, its probably on the upper part of the lower jaw... Anyways, I have just made my first 5-edge-star in... a year/a few months or so back... I really did burn out from trying to model heads with 0 break time the last time ;p
    10:20 tbh I obessively try to make my model match with the ref as much as possible(I also just compulsively follow tutorials 100% correctly step by step by default... yay I have neuroticism too!...?)... drives my OCD mad when I don't 11:30 Tbh I actually heard of the model resource, but I didn't think of using them like that...

      @CrashsuneAcademy  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yep! My graphic designer friend Baps did all the graphic design for the reference sheet and I just helped out and wrote it! :)

    • @land3021
      @land3021 6 месяцев назад

      @@CrashsuneAcademy Ah!!! I getcha now. I wish I had a friend who'd be willing to do that... But, putting my personal demons aside, good graphic design!
      And I could do with a friend to talk to(yeah my personal demons are literally my social anxiety keeping me from talking peoples heads off because it always ends poorly... & the demon that makes me keep on going even when I myself have had enough, making me share more than I want to, or just making me share stuff because I think it would be a shame for someone not to hear about something)... about my brilliant ideas about 2D cel shading(& more)! Because it isn't convincing enough and we're all living with 2D vision anyways so... 2D girls are all around us, just, not proportioned like anime... heh yeah... and lemme just grow antennas so that I can truly experience the world in 3D!
