For UE, such a UV unwrapping is definitely not suitable. It's really, really wrong. Don't ever do it. The UV islands must not overlap in any way.

Thanks for the tutorial, this is probably the easiest way to set face textures up for animating! Never gonna keyframe float values again, haha

In newer Blender versions both the bloom and the ambient occlusion settings are gone, where do I change that now?

question, how could you model a heel? trying to figure it out but the loop cut gives me the shape of the already created foot

can you "reference" in rigs into blender the same way you can in maya? it differs from importing because if you get an updated version of the rig, you can hit "update reference" and it'll update the rig to the new one without having to redo the animation. It's great for working in groups because someone can start animating even if the rig still needs some polishes. Also, I'm trying to work with 2 rigs at once and I don't see an option to import in a .blend file, the only way I've gotten to get it to work, but that just opens up a whole new scene

omg once you figure out an easier way to make low poly curly hair I'd LOVE a tutorial, I can't find one anywhere and I'm really struggling to make the curly hair on a 3d model I'm making rn and its a nightmare

Ive recently switch from using SFM to blender after nearly 6+ years(I will always forever love SFM, my sweet hometown) and ive gotten a handle of using blender which ive changed a few controls and interface to match sfm since last year. I want to thank you and this tutorial series about using blender, it greatly help me on getting the hang of blender for the first few hours/days and it wouldve taken me a lot longer if it wasnt for your series. what is the difference between the youtube and Gumroad versions in this tutorial ?

Ok so i've got a problem. Please remember that i am a NOOB at blender, Crashsune is literally my first video tutorial i follow. All the previous lessons were a breeze but now...errmm so i'm able to follow every step to 3:40 but when i open UV editor it shows my fullbody grid and when i project from view it just plaps the face on the body grid. And the body grid fine and active, i can't move it because it messes up textures i can't hide it bc it hides the body too. I've tried to fix it with every way possible that i know but nothing worked. So how can you have 2 UV grids without them overlapping? Please i need help ASAP ::"[[
