Orthodox Jew here. Found you by searching “do Muslims hate Jews” and watched your amazing video. This one is also great. Glad I found you. Thank you and God bless. My goal is to learn more about Islam to overcome any bias or prejudice.
Shalom fellow son of Abraham (peace be upon him). Just wanted to say I admire your open-mindedness and willingness to learn, may we all be like this so that humanity can develop better communication skills and behave more nicely towards one another, ameen. God bless you
Best articulated words on feminism , even popular speakers like jordan peterson can't express it the way u have done it. I didn't feel conflicted rather i see tye perspective of other gender . Both genders need to have mutual compassion. Islam is certainly the way to achieve it
To use a rather pedantic analogy, this and other many great Islamic RUclips channels are now my new 'Netflix'. The difference is it's highly beneficial instead of garbage. Alhamdulillah.
I think one of the most pernicious things is that they make you resent the other gender and blame them for all your problems. It's hard but empathy is the way to not get sucked into it. Men and women have it tough in different ways
Ya Allah SWT, protect and preserve Brother Tom and broadcast his words to the entire world. Grant him increase in clarity and knowledge. Let his words reach the hearts and make him a source of guidance for all. Ameen ya Rabbil Aa'lameen
Imam Tom you make things easy to understand. There is peace in your videos. i have this odd temperament that i get very angry reading these ideologies that are clearly harming society yet people don't abandon them. you maintain a balance which is very important to understand people. thank you for uploading these videos and giving some sense to my scatter brain 🤣
Agree and just a side note a lot of us from south Asian, cultural the emphasis was on women being bad so a lot of us started to go towards feminism in order to combat that. Alumdulillah I am glad I found the truth.I recently, after many years, was in contact with female relatives of my generation and I was saddened by their anti men sentiment, not in words, but attitude and guess, weak men and to be honest I didn't know what to say.they were running empires whilst the world, their world fell apart
Absolutely, and unfortunately Islam is abused to support that misogyny, even though misogyny is completely foreign to Islam. My family is from India but Alhamdulillah, the men and women in my family never let me feel inferior as a girl growing up. Culturally though you can not escape it and it’s a problem throughout the Muslim world. Just like racism and colourism are entrenched in a lot of Muslims’ minds and hearts- in spite of being foreign to Islam - misogyny similarly plagues us. It’s a real problem for a lot of Muslims, both women and men, growing up with this hatred of women and being taught that Islam somehow supports this. It’s especially hurtful when you are a girl. Feminism makes the problem worse and just increases conflict between men and women, in turn giving us this red pill response.
The solution is simple: Follow the Quraan and Sunnah. Islam is your paradigm, not Feminism or Red-pill. If there're some overlapping between divine guidance and man-made ideologies, it just means those man-made ideologies got it right on that particular issue, nothing more.
Exactly. It’s that simple. I’ve been saying that since this whole red pill thing became popular. Same with radical feminism. We don’t need them. They’re just man made ideologies. Nothing more.
The diagnosis of the schism in the gender interactivity by the red pill is astonishingly accurate, however their prescriptions are not only futile but also destructive at times.

Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.
Wow, mashallah how impressively well articulated, it is quite logical what you argue, but unfortunately you seem to be a lone voice amongst the muslim speakers. Its a shame even below this video, you have some people ( well men) still arguing that feminism is nonesense because women have never been oppressed, while red pill makes mistakes but is understandable, it doesn't matter what is presented they will stick to their original thought process.
From my study I understand feminism in the west as a response, but not to a necessarily real grievance women were experiencing, cus if the argument that lack of autonomy was the issue, or political involvement, or general inequalities then that'd apply to Islamic teachings and historical experiences, maybe to a lesser degree but similar in quality. To better understand this perspective is to understand the voting issue in its context as a case in point; the voting which was attached to selective service or drafting, among other responsibilities, which is why majority of the women, at that time, were not for a voting right cus it implied responsibilities women didn't want or found unreasonable for a woman, with a nature she has, to have. Rather feminism was a response to an artificial grievance, liberalism's philosophical implications (individualism, autonomy, sovereignty) that seemed to be inconsistently applied in colonies and at home (as often these "first feminists" were making an argument that other races had more value or same as European white women - yes, they WERE racist), as feminism or a type of a knowledge structure which reflected some of the feminist narratives and principles, was imposed on the colonies to destabilize colonised societies for the obvious colonisers interests hence some of the first proponents of feminism being men, that were "feminists" abroad but "traditional" at home. While redpill, though wrong in its solutions, diagnoses the situation that is in line with both science and human experience and Islam; so concepts like hypergamy, alpha maleness, SMV, gynocetrism etc.. essentially, though crudely, describes the reality that we recognise and that is implicitly taught in Islam. Feminism never reflected the real situation but rather an ideological vision. So we shouldn't approach this issue reductively and comiting what is essentially known as middle ground fallacy. Allah knows the best, but I haven't been convinced by any "modest" approach to gender dynamics, and i read quite a few of their works, it's always lacking depth and range, as if limited by political correctness or some sort of 'intellectual phase locking'. Red pill, as I see it, is uncovering certain knowledge that has been buried by the liberal obfuscation of nature.
Blacks weren't given the right to vote until 1820. So, voting wasn't completely based on gender. However, there were issues in society that were bad, but feminism was also about population control.

That's a reasonable argument. But the problem with islamic law is that a man could marry a lot of women, so a lot of man gonna end up alone for some few live in paradise (or hell, I don't know). 1.A contemporary historian and mathematician named Michael Hart, gathered other historians and mathematicians to compile the100 of the most profound human beings in history. They set up 32 categories by which to compare and produce the most profound human beings in history. And let me tell you what Michael Hart said, he said, he had to place Muhammad (peace be upon him)at the top of the list, and those with him, could not dispute it; because categorically Muhammad s.a.w. had earned that position. He said, he wanted to choose Jesus (peace be upon him) because he was Christian, but there were several categories that honestly he could not choose him. Because Jesus was not a husband, but Muhammad (peace be upon him) was Jesus was not a father, but Muhammad was Jesus was not a statesman, but Muhammad was Jesus was not a warrior, but Muhammad was Jesus was not a ruler but Muhammad was So Michael Hart and his collaborators, said that the greatest human being that has ever impacted on all annals of documented history had to be Muhammad (peace be upon him) And that statement, can be found in the archives of the New York times magazine. Michael Hart said that his choice was Muhammad to lead the list of the World's most influential persons; as he was the only man in history, who was supremely successful on both religious and secular levels. George Bernard Shaw said, that if a man like Muhammad were to tool the dictatorship or rule of the modern world, he would succeed in solving it's problems, that would bring it much needed peace and happiness. And Castle Wheatley said, that in a little more than a year, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was aqtually the spiritual, nominal, and temporal ruler of Medina with his hand on the lever, which was to shake the World. Billions of Muslims allover the World throughout the last 1400 years, have accepted the religious teachings of Muhammad An illiterate orphan brought up in the harsh deserts of Arabia transformed a backward society into a great civilisation. 2. Muhammad was the only leader who had realised his vision in his lifetime. He was born as an orphan in Mecca , raised in Mecca; his followers were killed, he was punished, persecuted and driven out of Mecca. But after 23 years, Allah/God allowed him to return to Mecca, as a victor, as a conqueror. But when he came back, he gave amnesty to everyone. Then Muhammad spread his message. He spread Islam throughout the Peninsula of Arabia, so that Islam became established as a state, as a government. He was now the Ruler, but he was still eating and drinking and dressing the same way, as he had been doing before. The messenger (peace be upon him) was just and fair. He didn't favour his family and friends over others, in distribution or in judgement, like the kings, presidents, or judges of today do, or like those who have done it throughout history. This was a man in this world who was always thinking of the hereafter, because Allah said to him the ayat' al aakhiratu khairuwn wa abbka' The hereafter is better for you and everyone else, than what is present. His message was to call humanity to the worshipping of the creator and to destroy all kinds of injustice in the earth, and to establish a character, a paradym of human conduct, for the human beings to follow. And if one reads the Qur'an you will see that message comes through, on every single page. This is what sets Muhammad (peace be upon him) above any other ruler or any other prophet. The prophet Muhammad, never in his life, did he lift his hand to hit any human being; not a servant, not a wife, not a friend, nor an enemy, except when the enemy was opposing Allah and opposing the message. When the companions of Muhammad were to look for him on the battlefield, they said by God, we found him in the middle of the enemies fighting, and we used to seek protection from his person, we used to hide behind the prophet on the battlefield. He was such a warrior and a statesman on the battlefield, commanding and fighting for the way of Allah/God the mighty But once he was off the battlefield, his eyes were downcast, and he was speaking softly, and he was gentle, and he was warm, and he was sacred, and he was soft and caring and crying. 3. The prophet Muhammad would also be doing a course on the days feeding the poor, visiting the sick, discharging the army, acting as a statesman, acting as an arbitor, talking to the people, addressing the women, giving out zakat, sewing his clothes, washing his house, shopping for the food, doing all the things, that you and I do. And at night, standing in prayer 4, 5 hours a time, and in the day, fighting the battles, discharging the armies, giving the rulings, explaining the Qur'an, and instructing the people in behaviour. How could a man do all of that, and stand 4, 5 hours in prayer at night? What kind of a human being can that be? He was a messenger, he was a prophet. This was a man with a message. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was that unlettered prophet, the final prophet; who was sent as a mercy to Mankind. He was the best example to follow. He was sent to all of Humanity and the Jinns. The prophet Muhammad was victorious over all the systems, and he was created on an exalted standard. Any moves to reduce men's responsibility for children constitutes a serious attack on the essential ingredient of self-sacrifice which goes into making up a viable community and thus women are the foundation because the woman who submits to marriage is the one whose sacrifice unleashes the latent altruism in men and integrates the community. The independent woman undermines and challenges this. Men are never more than Lords of ways and means while it is women who set the goals for them to pursue.
So how would you explain the marriage where women submit and obey their husband who is abusive, stingy, oppressive about unreasonable demands and unkind? The wife has done her part according to her role in Islam, but she isn't being afforded her rights by her husband.

Your Lord did not create amongst you
Male and female
Beautifully different
Physically and mentally
To rage war amongst yourselves
Or to vie with each other
He created you such
That you may live in harmony
Supporting each other
Through balanced roles
Prescribed by Allah
So do not be confused
By the turmoil around you
All over the World
It is not backwards or suppressive
To respect and serve each other
Learn about the values
That Islam has already presented you
And stick to them
