  • There’s an African saying that goes, “The past is what we inherit, the present is our duty, and the future is our challenge.”
Let’s see what this means to one of our scholarship winner of the Cultural Documentary Filmmaking Mentorship Program, @gwantwa_lucas .

At Afrisos, we believe that stories have the power to make a lasting impact. We take great joy in nurturing the skills of young Africans, who are the key to our future storytellers. We are proud of our efforts through our partnership with @carbontanzania to train the talented individuals, empowering them to share stories that celebrate and preserve Africa’s rich natural and cultural heritage. We envision a future where they inspire others, spreading the skills, knowledge, and beauty of Africa’s nature and culture to future generations.🌍🎥
Thanks to our collaboration with @carbontanzania , we had the privilege of hosting our second and most competitive application of the Cultural Documentary Filmmaking Mentorship Program in the Yaeda Valley, Lake Eyasi with the Hadzabe and Datooga tribes.
Before our nature is destroyed and our culture is lost, let us come together and preserve it through the power of storytelling.
