Just got mine yesterday here in the UK. First hour in I thought “yeah, it’s okay...but not blown away”. Then I read the manual...holy cow this thing is just superb. The sound design capabilities are incredible, it’s an entire sonic palette within simple and easy reach. Transformative! I hadn’t even realised it could do longer loops until this morning. Plus I’ve realised why all those early demoes by reviewers were so lacklustre; they just didn’t get it! Outstanding creation, team Hologram, thank you

Since the first vid of this series I was wondering about the preset navigation and managemt. This combination of color codes, slots and banks is brilliant - simple and intuitive yet fully fledged.
I would likely be as bad at making nice sounds with this as I am with my Microcosm. That said... Just looking at it, I think I'd be as happy I owned it as I am that I own the Microcosm. As a physical device, it looks just beautiful.

I ordered one after watching the announcement, and it's set to arrive in Jan. Every video of these I watch gets me more and more excited.

It's by far the most intuitive design for a multi effects pedal I've ever seen. The color coding idea is brilliant and beautiful.

It seems a lot more accessible to start out with than the microcosm! But still as deep if you want to get into the weeds

Does it not shave the mix amount on presets?
Being able to record gestures on the microcosm would be great. I hope that if it's possible the feature is added on a firmware update.

No, Infinite Jets can record knob movements though. I really hope Microcosm can be updated with that feature.
