I installed aftermarket speakers into my WRX (Non Harman Kardon) and I now get distortion at high volumes. The dash tweeters were also replaced with 3.5" speakers. Will this amplifer help with the distortion?
This isn’t something you hear from a lot of people, but it’s really ideal to add an amp before touching the speakers. Tune it to the output of stock speakers and decide after that if you like it, or want something that will handle more output. Aftermarket speakers will never sound good or balanced without an amp, and depending on what you are looking for, you may be pleased with the stock speakers when they are playing at their full potential. Stock Subaru speakers normally have an output of 30 to 35 watts per channel, basic stereos barely push 5 watts rms.
Nice looking WRX, those wheels hit it just right. What kind of rims are they?
Not sure but they are cool!
Is this compatible with older models, for example, a 2016 Impreza sport?

Have you done an install on the Harmon Kardon Models? Was there also significant improvement? What was the optimal setting you used?
We sold a few but haven’t done a local install. Maybe you can be our first?
@@BeatSonicUS I may take you folks up on that....

Overall it helps with distortion but the results will vary depending on your speakers
