That was a pretty nice piece.
The Swiss roll piece could of easily gone into almost any ghibli movie. So beautiful!
Especially the final movement, chills all over, I think it sounds more like something that would be in a pixar movie but it would work well in a Ghibli film as well.
Especially since Ghibli animates food so beautifully

I ‘m really proud of the person who wrote a whole piece dedicated to eating Swiss rolls
I feel like this piece could ve applied to anything that we genuinely and personally enjoy, and that's the best part!
Not only that, it’s a great piece as well
Tbh I want to listen to the piece while eating Swiss Rolls
that piece is soooo cute
It was written in just a week
This could be a permanent twice a month thing. I like this.

It's a dream if it can happen, i love this "format" a lots!
Step 1: review the 2000+ submissions.
Step 2: discard the unplayable ones.
Step 3: play all the playable ones, at a comfortable pace. We the audience have given you a mound of art; the honorable thing to do is respect it as a faucet of content and play the pieces your fans perhaps took several hours/days to create. Some of the pieces were made for this occasion ❤️
Basically meme review, but composition review
I want to have the swiss roll that guy ate, like jeez, that must've been the one hell of a Swiss roll

Maybe Sebastian made it?
The Japanese ones are BOOOOMMMMB 💥

I don't even like Swiss roll but that composition made me crave for one
Vladimir's piece really captured the feeling he was going for, but man, it looks evil on paper
It really does, I thought it would be a meme piece but it turned out to be very precise and intentional.
the third movement of the swiss roll one sounds so heart breaking that you almost forget that it's about a goddamned swiss roll

I feel like all these composers need RUclips channels so we can support them all. Find the new contemporary classical musicians of our day.
Hey. If nothing else. THIS is definitely something good that came from 2020. Learning about all these people who are creating and composing beautiful music. These are the people who (in my opinion) I would rather support. With time or money or retweets and shares or whatever I can do in any one moment.
I loved the violin tango so much it’s do awesome
Thank you, I love you for this
If this is what the new wave of modern classical will sound like, the future looks pretty bright.
New composer new talent is real
Ikr? The Swiss Roll was really awesome, and genuinely well composed. The Romantic Era would be proud
Edit: many of these pieces would make the Romantic & Late-Romantic Era proud
Agreed
So inspiring. I wish u guys would publish these songs so we can play them at home...
I'm not very familiar with the classical music scene, but one prejudice/stereotype (?) that I have is that classical musicians will still continue to play pieces from the classical period beethoven/schubert/haydn etc. so there would really be no place (?) for composers like them. Are there any well known classical composers that are alive today? Or is it called classical music because it came from the classical period? Sorry too many questions, and quite bad english but I hope that I sent my message across. :))
Listening to My Swiss Roll is like imagining a mouth-watering Studio Ghibli anime food scene experience.

My favourite piece has to be the Ode to Swiss Rolls. With each sequence it actually felt like I was going through the motions of anticipating, eating and then longing for more. The anticipation made me peckish, the feasting made it taste delicious just by the sound. Fluffy, creamy, flavourful, was it chocolate? And the longing actually made me want more so I had to replay the piece and go through the motions. It takes talent to invoke the senses like that, well done to composer-san whoever you are

Twoset when roasting pop musicians: "Lol they only use four chords"
Also Twoset: "He can achieve so much with just two chords"
I mean (might’ve missed the joke but otherwise)
It’s because 99% of pop songs use the same four chords
And also pop songs are on a constant, 4/4 rhythm, only really using crotchets, minims, semibreves and maybe quavers here and there (I’m currently studying music so sorry if that didn’t make sense)
Also, here’s a example of what I’m talking about, ignoring chords and such: ruclips.net/video/FoSe_KAQEr8/видео.html
Its no about cuantity but cuality like chopin
@@Nam_gwen I hope no one would r/woooosh you because, well, think about 4 chords universally vs. 2 per song -- which is better?

I thought the Bodunov piece was awesome. I just bought his CD (after a lot of searching and scary time on a German language web shop :D ). It's not his own compositions, it's standard violin repertoire, but maybe the sale is at least a small help towards him being able to record his own music. I'm a pianist playing at diploma level and still can't sight read. I normally learn by mostly listening. There are 2 types of Ling Ling wannabe.
1), people who has talent, and can compose like pro.
2) people like me who has their mouth wide open to what others can, denying themselves and forgetting to renew their Ling Ling insurance.
Never learnt music theory, never played a musical instrument, never watched two set violin (even if I've heard a lot about you guys) but I feel like after watching 2 of these fan composition videos I'm now a fan and I feel like I can kinda gauge the score (not to toot my own horn lol jkjk). btw the compositions are amazing (from someone who's music theory blind) and you guys are amazing! *subscribing!*
WOW when and where can I listen to modern composers like these? Bodunov's was my favorite but I LOVED all of them.

We always knew if you've been following them for a while lol they've actually mentioned their ages several times already. And I think their ages are even online if you Google for them.
Literally haven’t touched a violin and have had a few failed compositions while there’re so many talented kids who have some amazing compositions that they made. How I wish I had such talent
