If I wouldve knew that, I wouldve just did that. I'm just gon wire wheel my upper and lower control arms since I already bought bushings and ball joints. I got a 2003 blazer big brake setup tho(spindles, calipers, dust shields, hubs) that I pulled from pull a part.
@@dtuck0509 Anytime. Got to give credit where it's due. Your videos motivated me to get going on my Cadillac. I just lifted the body off the frame yesterday.
All is well, thanks. I had to get my phone replaced for camera issues, so I’ve been at a stand still with the vids. They are definitely coming tho. Thanks for asking 💪🏼💯.
Yes, but they have to come from a 2wd drive blazer. They are also what people use to do a brake “upgrade”. Blazer calipers are dual piston instead of single.
@@roreal2364 rock auto should have everything you’re looking for, but the spindles are pricey. I would get those out of the salvage yard. Clean em and paint em.
The paint on frame is looking awesome, I'm going to try to make mine like yours. Good job.
Dude your frame looks great! Nice job 👍
Thank you

I was also gonna try to save my originals, but they were too rusted and grimy.
So I can use the blazer spindles for my g body
Im in the same boat on my monte. I almost killed myself putting the springs in. Be careful when u get to them. Love to see a video ofnhow u do them
You dodged a serious bullet. Are you using a coil spring compressor or just a jac and wood block?
Compressor. My frame is tore down and bare just like this. Ironically at the same point as him
Suspension is coming along nicely 👀😎💯 #Motivation
Dan Marley Thanks bro, being back to work has slowed me down, but Rome wasn’t built in a day 🤷🏻♂️

Does no one install the strikers?
U didn’t mention grade 10 bolts are factory. Lowes might carry grade 8
How come you didn't go tubular control arms
Wasn’t looking to spend big money.

What model year? It is for the s10 Blazer or just the s10 2wd pickup truck?
How long are the bolts?
Can I put g body lower control arms on 1998 S10??
Bumpin j stalin my boy from the bay!!
Cant you just press in the G Body bushings?
J. Garcia yes, you can.
Yeah thats what I did but it cost 140 per side, not 40 per side
Are those S10 upper control arms?
Nope, those are the factory g body uppers.
@@dtuck0509 thanks!! Needed this one!!
Want that throw off the height of the factory height?
Did you use the control arms off the 4wd or 2wd s10 blazer?
It has to be from 2WD S10 Blazer, also get automotive grade bolts if doing this to your vehicle, cheap bolts will snap.
80s model is a g body…….
What bolts did you use
