The artist shows us his most recent work in his studio, and also talks about his painting Untitled (Mixed White / Emerald Green / Sepia) II, 2019, which is currently on view at Ely House and featured in our Art Basel Online presentation.

Jazz Tin has a Yorkshire Terrier called 'Painting': "Come on Painting.... Therrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre's a good Painting. I've got to think of Painting's future and it's not just health insurance. Anyway, when I take Painting for a walk around the Cork Oaks, little dry thorny seeds get caught in his shaggy coat and I have to snip them off, but the great thing about it is that for each snippet of hair and thorn, an idea for a new work of art emerges. We exchange glances. but I'll never really know Painting, so I just concentrate on a small detail as a contemplative pictorial tool for the immensity of the actual dog".
