Nürnberg is more then only the Christkindlesmarket even in the wintertime. But the market is almost the best known thing.I've been there in 2010 and kept my impressions on my chanal.

I so wish I could be there this Christmas. I loved it growing up as a kid.
Went there when stationed in Germany in '73. Very memorable.
Now, this is Christmas in Europe today! A place where all can join in perfect harmony to see the spirit of Christmas!
This was always my favorite of the Christmas markets. Takes me way back. I can still smell the gluhwein and Nurnberger brats in the air.
