As an old white honky hippie I love that you enjoyed this so much
Your dancing was that of a free bird for sure. You made me smile. I needed that.
Great reaction. I've watched many Freebird reaction videos and yours is one of the best. Spontaneous dancing and you never paused the guitar solo, thanks.
As others have mentioned the live performance of this at the Oakland Coliseum in 77, you owe it to yourself to watch it, it will blow you away.
Southern rock at its finest. They have a large catalog. Part of the original band died in a plane crash in 1977.
All of them are gone now.
@@Lezduit1 they are as free as a Bird 🦅🦅🦅
@@Lezduit1 I have gone to each of their grave sites.
Great review! Glad you liked it. This is rock!
You make me so happy!
Nice to see you feel the music the way we did first hearing and it never gets old.
Dance was epic bro!! Loved the reaction. 👌
The live version of this song in Oakland California is better believe it or not. The guitar solo is crazy. The next song I would do is simple man.
I totally agree
Wholeheartedly agree!🤘🏻
It's great 👍
Very nice dancing, this was fun! Thanks (Oh, they had at least 3 guitars doing this intense part, so good)
Must watch Live in concert....WOW ITS A EXPERIENCE...I'm a Grandmother now, but I was here....Damn we had fun,
Enjoying your Channel
Grand Funk Railroad
Song....Inside Looking Out 1969 live....another Fantastic Live Jam Performance
Santana...Woodstock 1969
Soul Sacrifice...half a million people showed up at Woodstock 1969...3 days of Rock and Roll...
Finally! i never see anyone suggesting "Soul Sacrifice Woodstock '69" Hopefully he reacts to it
Redneck southern ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!
This song has everything. Tempo change, build ups, slow intro and verses with great lyrics, vocals, story telling, a memorable chorus… and of course a crazy guitar solo to end it. All of these musicians were great.
Dude!!! I wish you could have been there too!!
New sub, ty great reaction! Much love
The lead guitarist, Allen Collins, nearly lost an arm in the plane crash. His dad convinced the doctors to not amputate it. The very first line of this song was from a fight Collins had with his wife, when she asked him that question. Unfortunately, she died in childbirth a few years after the crash. Collins started heavily using drugs and alcohol, resulting in a car crash a few years after her death. It left him paralyzed. He died about 10 years later of pneumonia. As bad as the plane crash was, surviving was almost as bad. Allen Collins was a monster on guitar, yet routinely gets overlooked.
It’s much better around a bonfire in the woods with a cold keg of beer and some good weed………that’s how we partied in the 70s
Hands down. The best Free Bird reaction to this day. Great job
Let’s fuckin GO!!! Hell yea! That’s the proper response brother!
Loved watching you rock out to the solo!!!
First time watching one of your reaction videos. I've never seen anybody enjoy this song as much as you. Liked and Subscribed!
Thanks for subbing!
That music grabbed your soul ❤ great reaction
SAW THEM TWICE !!! 🤯🎸🔥🐐😁😍🤯🎸🔥🐐😁😍
Yours is the best reaction! Lol. All Skynyrd is good rock n roll
Enjoyed watching you enjoy what I grew up with.
Check out their song
" They call me the breeze!!!"
Legend has it that solo never faded out, the tape just ran out. It's still going on.
The best Free Bird dance on You Tube!

Dancing to this song will give you a workout!
October 20 1977.r.i.p. you guys are the best
You mentioned GTA in the RHCP reaction.. this song was on San Andreas.
Check out
•"Tuesday's Gone"
•"That Smell"
•"Simple Man"
There was a programme on BBCTV called "the old grey whistle test" all live music and throughout all the amazing artists that were on it when it ended for the celebration This group and number was the highest request.
That was a nice performance, but they were missing Ed King badly on that one.
Dude went full Free Bird.
I’m a 70’s girl…loved skynyrd (even after my boyfriend broke up with me using this song 😢. It’s ok, I got him back 😊)
You need it live
A lot of people say to watch the live in Oakland version, but I think the live version at Knebworth in England in 1976 is better. IMHO. Oh and the guy making the beautiful slide guitar sounds the first half of the song is Gary Rossington.
love the reactions!!!!!!!!!!!
Never thought I’d see someone get sturdy to freebird
You MUST watch and listen to the live version at the Oakland Coliseum, 1977. You’re welcome. 😉
Welcome to the world of Southern Rock, three guitars, no waiting.
This is southern rock Great reaction.
One my fave bands seen them three times
Great to see your reaction, Skynyrd has a huge catalog worth checking out
7:46 when guitar solo starts
The live of this is incredible and a must see.
The only appropriate reaction to this song is to get up and dance! Bravo!
Lynyrd Skynyrd free bird live at Oakland Collisium 1977. It will blow your mind.
Got to watch the live version from Oakland CA to see the best guitar solo ever!!!
I loved this reaction. I instantly subbed. This is one of my favorite songs.
Was played in my friends funeral. Died of an overdose. It was his favorite song, and in the end he was finally free too.
Always makes me cry now.
The grand masters of Southern Rock, or, as I like to call this band, along with all my other favorites from the later 20th century, GUITAR ROCK. I've been a fan since I first heard them at 15 back in 1976. In my world...if it aint' got bitchin' electric guitar work goin ' on, I just don't go there. Guitar rock speaks to me because the electric guitar lends itself so incredibly to producing an endless variety of human emotions like few other instruments have or can. ROCK ON !
I love this guy's energy I'm a sub now
I love seeing young people react to this song for the first time, lol....
Even though you're clearly someone that likes pausing/skipping back and giving your thoughts moreso than some other reactions - I very much appreciate that you inherently understood you COULD NOT PAUSE once the song kicked into gear. Great reaction!
You need to do the live version at Oakland California on July 2, 1977…
Gary Rossington on slide guitar (played before the solo). Allen Collins launches and crushes the solo for 7 minutes.
GOAT of southern rock 🔥🔥✌
That put a big smile on my face. You should react to the live version so you can see them playing the guitars. There are 4 guitars.
Feel free !
The Oakland concert has got to be your next move.
Southern Rock..at its finest!
The best guitar solo.
This is one of the most iconic sings in history!! ✌❤
I love that Song and i love that you like it too
Gary Rossington is playin' slide guitar. Waite till you hear Allen Collins on lead guitar.
Southern Rock baby !
Yes sir Ronnie we still remember you…
Guitar and Drumer giving their best
Allen Collins and Ed King are the two lead guitarists during the solo on the Pronounced album. Steve Gaines joined after Ed left and is seen in the live versions at Knebworth and Oakland
"That is why this song has 77 MILLION VIEWS" LOL and this is why I love watching people get "Skynyarded". Because they just don't know............until they experience it for the first time.
It's always such a joy to see someone with clear musical appreciation abilities getting slapped in the face with this greatness for the first time. There is a thousand tunes I could recommend right now (Black sabbath, War Pigs) but I will suggest this. Stevie Ray Vaughan doing Voodoo Child live. Best of luck with the channel.
I love your energy and ❤️
That's Southern Rock at it's very best
More Southern Rock would be Allman Brothers Whipping Post live at Fillmore east.
The live version is at least 2 minutes longer and this is the encore they play it after almost 2 hours of playing
Southern Rock !!
Southern Rock. Is what it's called.
Your reaction is priceless 👍❤️now…listen to the LIVE performance in Oakland California 1977- you’ll absolutely go BESERK!👌😁😁
best solo ever!
I'm waiting for the middle melody...it will blow your mind. This is my favorite song of all time.
You asked who was playing the guitar. The slide guitar played at the beginning is Gary Rossington. The ending is played by Alan Collins & Steve Gaines. You have to watch the live version!
Steve Gaines did not play on this album. Ed King was guitar number three for the first 3 albums, and played bass on most of the first.
Everyone seems to react to stuff after the 60s-70s.
I've played and produced music (ooooooooooooooooooooold) for a good 20-30 years. There's amazig things you can find form over 100 years ago.
Elgar's Nimrod (originally meant clever hunter).
Wagner's (Nazi scum who inspired Hitler) Ring Cycle.
Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountian.
When you consider that there were no electronic Instrumentation and all they had were orchestal instruments, they're pretty fucking amazing!
Check out some Pink Floyd. Hey you, Time, Money, Comfortably numb are all bangers. Comfortably numb from the 1994 pulse concert will blow your mind.
You gotta try Call Me The Breeze. You won't be able to sit still.
Ayy ...my man turned into free bird himself 😂
Yep, music at it's finest. First reaction that I'm catching of yours, I know you got good music taste. Free bird get you grooving no matter the style, I'm normally pulling a stank face and head spazzing like Em, Busta or DMX is spitting some fire bars!
Keep up bro. I'm gonna check out the rest of your content. BIG SUPPORT! FREEE BIRDDDD! (Google why ppl scream this at 'everyone's' concerts, interesting) :) Try Black Sabbath - N.I.B (Nativity in Black)
EDIT: Subscribed!
Luv ❤
this brother caught the vibe and the beat of this song like a white person what a great reaction
Southern Rock is knows no color. The saying is that Duane Allman played guitar on Hey Jude cover with Black soul singer Wilson Pickett and thus Southern Rock was born
This is southern rock.
You are cool as fuck... Loved the reaction. Peace!
Try "Things goin' on" from that same album. This has to be one of the best debut albums ever (1973).
Imagine- music made without "samples" and "beats"! Real music by real musicians. Not that I don't like and appreciate rap (I do) - but this is why many of us older people call this real music.
Yes Brother loving your passionate reaction, your wonderful laughter at bill burr too. Please react to Jimi Hendrix Hey Joe live at Monterey. Peace and Love. G
🥰🥰🥰
Cassie gains was killed in the plane crash and is often over looked was the one that said the opening lyric if i leave hwre tomorrow
They almost made him want to go back to 1977.
If you like this check out Led Zeppelin, Stairway to heaven, you won't be sorry.
It's called southern rock
You need to do love version
