    I have a 2016 veloseter turbo full boltons, intake, downpipe, full exaust, front mount intercooler with all new piping, what do you think I could make with your tune?

    I'm having an issue with an engine swap after the previous one had a damaged piston. i have the velaster turbo 2016 dual clutch version, The problem I'm encountering is that the engine isn't performing as expected. While it sounds normal and accelerates smoothly at low speeds, when I try to accelerate harder, it feels like it's not delivering power properly. The RPMs drop, almost as if the computer is limiting it. It's frustrating because when I reach 50 MPH, it doesn't accelerate as it should. Can someone tell me what could be happening?

    Do later year cars with 1.6t not have the same option in regards to cloning ECU ? Different set by Hyundai to stop people from doing this and forcing them to use some kind of piggy back which leaves a trail on ECU?
    I feel like Hyundai also made the ECU harder to crack or tune so even tuning in shop on stock ECU was not possible a few years back .
    Strictly speaking I have a 2019 Elantra GT N LINE / MT and there were not options for them or less and your speaking about cars up until 2017 for the V turbos which seems in line with my assumption as they are same engine or same block / components with maybe slight changes / different turbo but mostly different ECU or code that defeats tuning or at least cloning ? Sorry for so wordy , not easy to find much about these little engines despite the basic architecture being in so many different cars .
    Thanks in advance I liked the video in regards to disseminating info for younger people or people on what to expect , protecting longevity and some honesty about what to expect and undsrstanding that many people will in fact not care about performance as much as sounding cool ( not me but its respectful to aknowledge that without being condescending and telling truth instead of claiming benefits ) .
    I was kind of shocked on the one Manual Trans dyno BEFORE the tune with bolt on that seemed high for just bolt ons , particulary mostly intake ( ive been told they are only for induction sound and do not flow more generally ) . So I am assuming the nice whp and high wheel torque is a no cat set up with no cat in DP and exhaust which are the only real bottle necks or was it hi flow cats , seems unlikely as im not sure but i feel like in the veloster back in the day they did not make the 201 hp 197tq that is the max these make in different cars and sometimes less in a some cars for whatever reason . But mine is 201 197 flywheel and seeing 223 torque at the wheel with no tune seemed like a nice jump as i expect if i minus 10% drive loss mike car would be under 180 tq and 222 would actually be quite noticeable and 266 wheel would feel very different .

    I have a stock 2nd Gen 2019 Veloster Turbo. Do you require mods such as an intake/exhuast first before getting a tune or can it be stock? Ideally I'd want to get the tune first and add an intake and exhaust further down the line.

    • @BTRcarcustoms

      It can be stock and you can add mods later

    Can the burble be tuned to be less aggressive? In other words, having the duration of the burble be shorter?

    • @yoltsbp
      @yoltsbp Год назад

      of course it can. all they do is add excessive fuel to ignite and pop on decel. super easy to do and i think its robbery to charge people for decrease mpg.
