I cannot thank you enough for making this video!!! The number of hours you've saved me is beyond valuable. The way to explain things makes it easy to learn, and one can go straight into applying it to their work. Thank you!!
Nice ideas. But the problem with these suggestions is that they are only applicable to a handful of cells and you can't easily number filtered cells either since they will not auto-increment as a result of the filter. You have to manually number each row and when you have thousands of rows, that's not feasible. I have thousands of rows that I want to copy data from thousands of unfiltered rows to thousands of filtered rows, so numbering filtered rows won't work because the rows are filtered hence the numbering won't auto-increment.
I've been searching for a simple solution to this problem for such a long time. Thank you for providing the answer in an easy to follow video. I hope others are able to find this video like I did.
Really appreciate it. It helps even tho it takes couple more action to do. So its really imposible just to copy it without vlookup. Because sometimes we have much more complex data But really appreciate it tho Thanks
video was excellent, but i m trying to huge filtered information in one excel file to another excel file and i want that copied filtered information in destination excel sheet where there is also data filtered
I found a VBA script, free source on the Web 3 years ago, covering this topic. Now using it dayli at the office. The idea is to check each Line high and copy the value when size 0 in a for next loop. Brilliant solution, here opportunity for me to thank to the anonymous geek author :).
Fuller explanations help us understand the reasons behind it better. Better to know more than too little. If you only know the 'how' instead of the 'why', you will never grow and develop your understanding.

great, thanks!
Life saver
thanks for the explanation. so the control R will work on only the column next to it or it can be say from colum a to copy to column E
If you select two different columns together, it will paste into right side column.
Waste if u filter then its l25 rows. How u put number? 1 by one
sir if data is more than 20000 rows.how to do it cop from other sheet into filtered columns.
Any updates .?
You can use vlookup and extract the data and then copy the formula and paste in below cells down by using alt+: only in filtered cells.
How to do at the different sheet
Thanks for the video. Using the vlookup function, let's I want to do Gujrat as well after I have done Maharashtra. How do I do that?
Thanks 🙏
Can I get the Vlookup formula for this?
Thanks
Good👍
Thank you so much!
please could you link the vlook up vedio in description as well so we can go to that vedio easliy

Tq so much
V lookup ke liye numbers add karne ki jarurat nahi thi. Maharashtra is also unique value for using vlookup formula.
Finally use vlookup 😂
If we have formula in all middle of all cells which we not to distrub, but want to paste special value in middle of filter any possibility for that???
no use bro, without using vlookup we have to do
You should explain in short,,taking more time makes us bore.

Yes boring
