    Dude, this was awesome. And while many people say it doesn't matter, just that Jesus died for you and rose again, to me it is important. It's a matter of Jesus' own accuracy, as well as Biblical accuracy.

      Jesus resurrected on Sunday early morning.
      Jesus was crucified on Thursday and died on the cross and buried on the evening of Thursday which is the first hour of Friday.
      Jesus was in the tomb all Friday night and the jews sealed His tomb on Friday morning and left him in the tomb for friday morning this is a complete 1st day.
      Jesus remained in the tomb for Saturday night and nothing happened on Saturday morning and this is the 2nd complete day.

      Look at Luke account. Luke is writing to Gentials. Read Luke 1:1-4, this is vitally important because if this isn't true then it makes the entire gospel of Luke wrong. Start at Sunday which is Luke 24:1 the Luke 23:56 is Saturday then Luke 23:53 is His crucifixion which is Friday. So in these 5 verses you get Friday through Sunday. Lukes gospel is very clear.

      Sir, just read Luke 1:1-4 it states that he investigated everything interviewing those who were eyewitnesses and he wrote down everything in consecutive order. This is vitally important. This is the Holy Spirit writing scripture. Now just read starting at Jesus resurrection which is on early Sunday morning according to Luke 24:1. Backup one scripture and you will see the Sabbath day which is Saturday. Then back up a couple of verses you will see that he was crucified on Friday. Remember Luke's gospel is written to an all Gentile audience.

      Skip the blasphemy over YESHUA getting inspired by Buddhism an Hinduism or that He was twice married, but know for a fact.
      If YESHUA revealed himself in flesh and blood after His Crucifixion, He did not ascend to Heaven in a physical body which He had at the time, unless He took an Indian flying machine to reach His destination (Afghanistan, Pakistan, India 🇮🇳 the lands of the 10 lost tribes of Israel).
      There is NO ASCENSION. Therefore YESHUA fled Palestine and He did not just vanish in thin air.
      Not only that He was not born on 25 of December which is a pagan birthday of Tamuz, but He lived to be over 120 years old and ministered every day to the Lost tribes of Israel.
      It is revolutionary.
      Luke lied to us in the Gospel of Luke and in Acts when he spread the Ascension theory in order to Divinize YESHUA. Paul wanted to explain his vision by saying that YESHUA came to speak to him in Greek, and He couldn't do it unless YESHUA would be a spirit, while all the disciples of YESHUA knew that He lives. When YESHUA said that He cannot stay long in Palestine He meant He has to return to the lost Sheep of Israel in Asia, where He came from.
      It is a shocking thing but the time of truth came, and The Bride 👰🏻 of Christ needs to learn the truth.
      Please watch the Documentary and read the writings collected by Nicolas Notovitch in Tibet. They were written by buddist monks and the words of YESHUA are exactly like in the Gospels. The same message which is not Buddhism or Hinduism.
      May God bless you and help you comprehend this Truth.
      Also the Jews outside Asia need to know this. He is their
      Massiach.

      The Gospels tells us that Jesus was crucified on a Friday,
      .The reason why John said that Sabbath was a high day, was because it was Passover week.
      If you read the gospels the week that Jesus was crucified, You will only find ONE Sabbath, The weekly Saturday Sabbath.
      The Gospels tells us that Jesus was crucified the day before the Sabbath and rose the day after the Sabbath day.
      John tells us that Jesus was crucifies 5 days after Palm Sunday, Vs 1 & v12, with Matt 26: 2. Which means it was a Friday.
      Mark's gospel tells us what Jesus did from day to day, from Palm Sunday to resurrection Sunday, And Jesus was still alive on Friday until 3pm.

A Bible app with search was a big help to find the passages that explain the Mosaic laws for the feast days. Something else I discovered was that the Feast of Unleavened Bread was a remembrance of the 7 day journey out of Goshen to Succoth to rest and regroup the 2-3million into tribes prepared to march, this is the first High Sabbath. They rested, but could prepare food. The 7th day is also a High Sabbath of rest allowing only preparation of food. This is in remembrance of crossing the Red Sea safely.

    Number one the Bible does not say that Jesus was in the tomb for three days and three nights. It’s it’s your introduction of three days and three nights that confuses everybody. One thing for certain based on the Bible is that Jesus had to be taken down from the cross before the Sabbath. The Sabbath is on a Saturday. The Sabbath starts at 5 PM on Friday. So that alone says that Jesus was crucified on Friday. Next we find Mary Magdalene going to the tomb on the day after the Sabbath which is Sunday. Therefore Jesus was in the tomb on Friday day one next Saturday day two next Sunday day three. Only Satan will try to confuse people as to how long Jesus was in the tomb and a minuscule issue with the words of the Bible. The fact remains Jesus was crucified on Friday and rose from the dead on Sunday. The most important thing is he was dead and he rose from the dead and who cares how long he was in the tomb only Satan will try to make an issue with that just like he did with Job to God the father. Death and restoration is the miracle. Like I said only Satan and his advocates will try to confuse people about the greatest miracle in the history of the planet earth. Remember Jesus died and he rose from the dead on the third day. He was dead and he came back to life. That proves that he was the Messiah and the son of God. The work of the devil, Satan, Is to bring about confusion and you are doing a good job of planting the seed of confusion. Therefore you are not a reliable source of information on Jesus. Prayer cannot help you.

    14 verses in the NT say Jesus rose on the 3rd day, which was Sunday. Therefore, he was crucified on Friday, just as pretty much everyone in church history has taught for the past 2000 years
    Every year about this time we have the people riding their hobby horse pet theory of a Weds crucifixion or a Thursday crucifixion.
    Its really simple - Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday, consistent with multiple scripture verses. Matt 12:40 is then to be understood idiomatically - part of Friday, all of Saturday and part of Sunday make 3 full days, or idiomatically, "3 days and 3 nights"

    2. Why did you create an assumption of the resurrection of our savior? While His resurrection was confirmed on early hours of Sunday?

Please note that, recently, Hamas took over the farmlands and kicked the farmers out of their homes. Therefore, for the next seven-years, these trees will provide food for the terrorists. If you want to donate, please do so in when the farmers get their land back, not before. G-d bless Israel.

    Great detailed explanation. I’ve been digging in to research this time-line and came to the same conclusion. But I would put a somewhat finer point on the time of day of His crucifixion and death.
    Matthew 27:35-50 Jesus was already on the cross by noon (the 6th hour) and gave up the ghost around 3:00 pm (the 9th hour.)
    Matthew 27:45 “Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land.”
    In the time it took for Joseph of Arimathea to go to Pilate to beg for the body of Jesus and have it granted and to arrange for - and take down the body - and get Him into the tomb - it was near sunset - the start of the High Sabbath.
    Thank you for putting this video together - I'll be sharing it with family and friends who insist on Easter eggs and bunny rabbits.

      Absolutely agree. Also, as well as begging for the body, it would take time for Pilate to send someone and for them to return to confirm Jesus was dead and then Joseph of Arimathea had to go and buy the linen cloth for Jesus' body (Mark 15: 46), adding to the time it took.

      @@dr.alanhales544 I guess because 3 days and 3 nights is just that. Even Yeshua said there were 12 hours in a day...also means 12 hours in a night. Going further we need 36 hours for his being dead before resurrection. I personally think the translators failed to understand the Hebrew customs for counting days and just assumed there was only one Sabbath and it was on a Saturday. I think it is impossible to get 3 days and 3 nights between Friday to Sunday. Just my take,

      The scriptures couldn't be more clear,
      The passion of Christ is part of the three days. (See Isaiah 53.)
      He was already "In the belly of the beast"
      Rome was that beast.
      And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, "The Son of man shall be betrayed *into the hands of men*
      And they shall kill him, and *the third day* he shall be raised again"...
      {Matthew 17:22-23}

      For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, "The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and *after* that *he is killed* he shall rise the third day.”
      {Mark 9:31}
      --[Friday] known as preperation (for the sabbath) day (from evening to evening) starts with the last supper, followed by being delivered into the hands of men to be chastised and afflicted, after that he is killed.
      And now when the even was come, because it was *the preparation* that is, the day before the sabbath.
      {Mark 15:42}
      And it was *the preparation* of the passover, and about the sixth hour: [noonday] and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
      ...
      Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
      Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
      There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' *preparation day* for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
      {John 19:14, 40-42}
      (Jesus rest in the tomb on the seventh day sabbath, which was the beginning of a new creation where man is once again reconciled to his Creator God.)
      And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
      And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and *rested the sabbath day [Saturday] according to the commandment*
      {Luke 24:55-56}
      Now upon *the first* day of the week, [Sunday] very *early in the morning* they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
      And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

In other words new day starts from evening by Hebrew calendar whereas morning starts a new day by Gregorian calendar or Sunset/Sunless New day by Jewish Calendar and a Sunrise new day by Gregorian calendar

After church I went up to him and brought up this topic. He pointed out to me that there was more than one sabbath that week that Jesus Died. I always knew that the word of God was true according to the original intent of those that wrote it; but sometimes the form that their words are in by the time it finally makes its way to us confuses us, and we miss some (or all) of what was originally intended. He didn’t have the opportunity to explained it as clearly and in such great detail as you have just done, but now I more clearly understand what he was talking about (I accepted what he said back then, but now I understand it better). Again, thank you very much. Love❤, dear brother

Then be arrested that same night, and then crucified during the day after the sun comes up on that same passover day which started the evening before at sunset, but doesn’t end until sundown on the day of crucifiction. That is why they had to hurry to burry him before sundown. Because at sundown the “high day” would begin. They count “days” differently than we do. We count the start of a date at midnight in the middle of the night before we arise, they count the start of a date at sundown the evering before which is even before eating the evening meal.
      Its just like every Sabbath which is the 7th day of the week (which is Saturday) actually starts at sundown on Friday. After the sun goes down, there is still lots of time on what we call Friday evening to eat and do other things. but unlike us, they call it the Sabbath which is now Saturday to them. And the sabath doesn’t end until sundown on Saturday. Now it is sunday to them, but we still call it Saturday in our culture.

    Dear bro in Christ, Jesus indeed died and was buried on Friday before sunset. We all know that the next day was a Sabbath. He was given a hasty burial, and the women were unable to pay their last respects, so they had to wait for the Sabbath and a night to pass and rushed to His grave at dawn. If He was buried on wednesday, and the next day was a High day, the women would have gone to His grave at the dawn of friday, which is not the case. So the three days and three nights is just an idiom or expression. The women prepared the spices which was already in their house or bought them after sunset of saturday. So Friday is day 1, Sabbath is day 2 and Sunday is day 3...

    Thank you for this excellent video. I have believed this for many years after hearing it talked about by a Jewish Christian who had been a Rabbi. Later I did my own research and came up with the same conclusions. You did add to my writing especially about Feast of First Fruits. I have been having a 'discussion with another poster who is firm that Jesus died on Friday. What I said to him was that as long as we agree that He died and rose to save us I would keep my beliefs and allow him his. Again Thank you for this confirmation.

    Thanks for this. I've been aware of this argument for a number of years now, and believe it is the correct argument - as long as you stick to the Hebrew calendar.
    My problem with the Friday argument, or even Wednesday, is the synchronization of the calendars. Especially the weekly syncing. The Hebrew is a clear lunar calendar, whereas Gregorian is not. I'm unconvinced that the first day of the week on the Hebrew calendar was always on a Sunday - just for example. Other than this question, which may need a very deep dive into the history of the calendars, I do agree with what you are saying.
    Praise God we do not need to use mental gymnastics working three days into Friday to Sunday. It does sound forced and it does make Jesus sound like a liar.

    The Passover lamb was killed at the end of the Nisan 14th not the beginning. The feast of the unleavened bread started that same night 14-15th. Mark 14:12, Exodus 12:6,18 same evening or twilight when they killed the Passover lamb they were to eat the unleavened bread. That makes it the night of 14-15th of Nisan.
    So the preparations for the Passover were not on 13th of Nisan but during the day of 14 of Nisan and that is Mark 14:12 they were making preparations for the Passover on the same day of Nisan 14th.

    *_(for that sabbath day was an high day,)_* is not Saturday so this event crossed over 2 Sabbaths.

      @@dr.alanhales544 Well Jesus said as Jonas was in the belly of the fish 3 days and 3 nights so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth. Being crucified on Friday and being raised Sunday doesn’t equal 3 days and nights. Daniel even speaks of when Christ would be cruxified.
      “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

    The lambs were NOT killed ON the day of Unleavened bread, but EATEN. They were killed at 3:00pm on the preparation day the 14 th of Nisan. Jesus ate the Lord;s supper in the late Evening of Tuesday 13th, afterwards he went to pray in the garden, he knew his time had come. While he was in the garden Judas came with the mob and thet took him, It was during his trial NOW at early morning (wednesday the 14th - of Nisan Preparation day)) that the scribes etc didn;t want to enter the palace (during his trial) and be defiled before the 1st Feast Day, the High day Sabbath. So did Jesus eat the Passover on the 13th, when the Passover was on Wednesday the 14th of Nisan. The Lambs were to be killed at 3:00 pm the same time Jesus died on the cross. Jesus WAS our PASSOVER LAMB! During the lord:s Last Supper he told Judus to go do what he must quickly. He was to Betray him!! Then the lengthy trial, then crucification 9:00 am , death at 3:00 pm and buried before 6:00 pm at evening toward the 15th day of the Feast of unleavened bread. Jesus stated he DESIRED to eat the passover with them. He knew he was to die as our passover lamb!!

      {Matthew 17:22-23}
      (Not after the third day)
      For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, "The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and *after* that *he is killed* he shall rise the third day.”
      {Mark 9:31}
      --[Friday] known as preperation (for the sabbath) day (from evening to evening) starts with the last supper, followed by being delivered into the hands of men to be chastised and afflicted, after that he is killed.
      And now when the even was come, because it was *the preparation* that is, the day before the sabbath.
      {Mark 15:42}
      {John 19:14, 40-42}
      {Luke 24:55-56}
      Now upon *the first* day of the week, [Sunday] very *early in the morning* they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
      And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
      {Luke 24:21}
      (Three days and three nights, for the day was reckoned from evening time.)

    One question, the Bible says Jesus was arrested at night and crucified the next day. So wouldn’t he have celebrated the Passover on Tuesday? Then crucified on Wed which was the actual Passover which foreshadowed his sacrifice. Then buried in the tomb before sunset on Wednesday? Then Thursday night/day, Friday night/day, Saturday night/day and rise on Sunday Night before daylight or right after sunset on Saturday.

    • @BIBLEWORDSANDVERSES
      @BIBLEWORDSANDVERSES 13 дней назад

      The passover nisan 14 started on Tuesday at sunset, and ended shortly before sunset on Wednesday.
      Jesus ate the passover meal starting on Tuesday at sunset, was arrested that same night; and on Wednesday was crucified, killed, and shortly before sunset on Wednesday was placed in the tomb.
      He spent 72 hours dead in the tomb, from shortly before sunset on Wednesday, until shortly before sunset on Saturday. He rose before sunset on Saturday.
      In Jewish terms, Jesus was buried near the end of passover nisan 14 (Wednesday just before sunset), and rose near the end of nisan 17 (Saturday just before sunset).
      Nisan 14 passover started on Tuesday at sunset, and ended just before sunset on Wednesday.
      Nisan 15 the high annual feast sabbath started on Wednesday at sunset, and ended just before sunset on Thursday.
      Nisan 16 the regular business day started on Thurday at sunset, and ended just before sunset on Friday.
      Nisan 17 Resurrection Day started on Friday at sunset, and ended just before sunset on Saturday.
      Firstfruits nisan 18 started on Saturday at sunset, and ended on Sunday just before sunset.
      Jesus as priest offered himself on Sunday morning (nisan 18) as the firstfruits of the harvest.
      Jesus rose on nisan 17, Saturday the regular weekly sabbath, just before sunset, and that is why he offered firstftuits on Sunday morning nisan 18.
      Jesus rose on Saturday just before sunset.
      If Jesus had risen on Saturday, either at sunset, or after sunset, that would no longer be the regular weekly sabbath, which means that he rises the first day of the week, and has to present himself (the firstfruits) to the priest (also himself; Jesus is the priest).
      The problem with this is that the priest (Jesus) must wait for a sabbath to pass, which means that he has to wait one full week, for the next weekly sabbath to pass, and wave himself as the firstfruits a week later.
      A sabbath must pass.
      This is an ordinance in Leviticus 23:9-11.
      The firstfruits must be presented to the priest; and the priest must wait for the sabbath to pass, and the day after the sabbath the priest waves the firstfruits.
      The day after the sabbath is the same thing as saying the morrow after the sabbath.
      In other words, if Jesus resurrects the day after the sabbath (the first day of the week), he cannot lawfully wave himself as firstfruits that same day; he has to wait a week for a sabbath to pass, offering himself only on the first day of the week a full week later, waving himself the next day after the sabbath, on the morrow after the sabbath.
      This is crucial, because it's impossible to offer firstfruits if he had risen on Saturday either at sunset or after sunset (that would already be the first day of the week).
      Jesus rose on Saturday shortly before sunset (still the sabbath, or 7th day of the week).
      That is the reason he waved the firstfruits on the first day of the week (Sunday morning, the next day after the sabbath), because he rose on the sabbath, presenting firstfruits on the sabbath, which were waved a day later (on the first day of the week: the day after the sabbath).
      It's intricate, and must be closely examined, as it disproves a resurrection on the first day of the week (Saturday at sunset or after sunset is too late.
      Jesus rose Saturday before sunset, still the Jewish sabbath.
      What he was doing on Sunday morning was firstfruits, not resurrecting.
      He resurrected the previous Jewish day (the regular weekly sabbath).
