Oh my god, this would be a dream for me. Glad to see someone else who appreciates the -200s, so many people like to hate on them it seems. How did you get back home though?
I remember taking a few flights on only CRJ-200’s from BMI-DTW-SWF and back…circa 2011! Crazy to think all of them are gone from DTW now. What an amazing experience this must have been!
I know, the aircraft are scheduled to be delivered to Sakura Star (as it launches), Tailslandian, Tesla Air, and Air Eleanoria sooner or later. So far, this one, like the one you're on, was repainted and turned into a Tailslandian Cross Country CRJ-200, many aircraft did the same with other Tailslandian Airlines, including Sakura Star.
Funny thing is, several of these CRJ 200's, mostly SkyWest owned, have been put back in service, on EAS routes, out of DTW, until conversions are done to turn them into 550's.
Yeah, I saw that SkyWest was brining a handful of them back. I would really like to get on one of them but it’s so hard to plan because the flights are so sporadic.
Flight time has nothing to do with the size of the plane. I fly the CRJ for a 121 carrier and I’m faster than almost all the narrow bodies. MMO on a 321 is .81 and MMO on the CRJ is .85. Winds aloft have everything to do with flight time.

Thank you! I do appreciate the -200 and I fly it a lot so I had to be on this flight. There is a greyhound bus from Kingman to Las Vegas once a day
Thanks!.
Awesome flight! Pretty cool to be able to be apart of that.
It was so fun, I was very fortunate to be able to go

It was so fun. I know SkyWest still has some left, but even their days are numbered

I’m surprised it happened that quickly, I flew this less than a month ago
your own plane, free choice of seating, and complete control over the biscoff cookies? sounds glorious.
Oh yeah, I ate so much on this flight 🤣

How come the food & drink weren't taken off before this plane left DTW, since it wouldn't be used as a revenue service anymore?
They left some stuff on board for me and the pilots in case we wanted some, which was nice of them cause they didn’t have to
That’s awesome. How did you arrange that flight? Thanks for posting.

Stopped watching before that point. Thanks!!😊
@@GerardiAviation How did you know this ferry would be happening?
Does endeavor still have a base at Dtw despite this, or is the retirement of the 200s also mean they’re pulling their base?
They still have a base in DTW, now it’s just for -700’s and -900’s
How did you get on that flight if it was a ferry flight?

looks like a steep descent into AZ
It kinda felt like it, but the landing was nice and smooth
A CRJ2 transcon must've been brutal AH.
Not as bad as you might think, but I am shorter so it wasn’t as bad as a really tall person would have it
🎉
They should have played a recording of a baby crying..just to be more realistic......
Ha! Yeah maybe 🤣
So weird ...one minute it's a fully functional aircraft, the next minute it's scrap
Yep, it’s truly sad
