There was a cologne from Paul Stewart in New York called Red Label. The most powerful patchouli ever. It came in a thick box wrapped in a pound of paper. I could smell it in my mailbox. I had it for 12 years. Could only tap it on with my finger. Can't find it anywhere.

Los Angeles , for me its armaf club De nuit. Not the most expensive but damn that thing projects like crazy 2 sprays all I need easily last till next day and gets compliments , keep the good work
Afnan does not smell like Royal Oud, no way, Royal Oud is much more classy and pleasant, easier to wear and smells heaps better
But they do share 80% of the same notes. I did mention it takes a right turn into the spicy zone.

You can also check FragranceX, price are converted to MYR and fairly cheap for some of the niche fragrances.
Never heard of them, thank you for sharing this unknown gems, a tad expensive though... rather spend my money on those afnan your highness... by the way black tie for men, 30 something hours on my skin... since you talked alum the guayac wood, black tie, is. A fruity fragrance with this note.
