Yeah, but back then, it was just a new category of content. They still made top 15/10 videos at the time. Now, 100% of Dolan's content is just reddit stories.

@@gnome5057 some parts of the joke is harmful because if the person misses their mother enough, they could end it all because of the jokes and torment reminding them of their loss, the human mind is resilient but also fragile at the same time.

The best way for the first story to have gone is to convince the old couple they convinced you to live and hang up. I imagine you'd have still felt like trash and never pulled another prank, but to continue down the road they did - that was just evil.

Suicide IS no joke, seriously. I've lost a friend from school because she committed a suicide. I honestly didn't know why she did it and blamed myself for a while, thinking that I should've been a better friend. But I didn't learn until some years later that she ended her life due to money problems in her family.
That was the worst kind of pain I've ever felt in my life, and I hope to never experience that pain again.
And to those who might have suicidal thoughts, please please PLEASE, talk to someone and get help! Abusing yourself mentally and emotionally is not good and could lead to dark things.

yeah, i haven’t lost anyone yet, but a lot of my friends have attempted, and i can remember staying up at night, crying for hours because i thought something was going to happen, honestly, it’s horrible when people just joke around about it for no reason

Got one of these. Friend tried to do the thing where you pull forward a couple feet as someone's trying to get in the car. 2nd time my other friend tripped, and ended up getting ran over by the car. Broke his femur, was an 8 month recovery and he gain hella weight cause he had to sit around

I didn't actually get to tell the joke, but...
I was on a fairly large Discord server, when I asked if anyone wanted to hear a joke. Someone butted in and said "women's rights". The guy knew I hated those kinds of "jokes", and I had complained to the staff many times, but they didn't do anything.
Anyways, I started going on a rant that ended with me getting banned.
I'm glad I got banned from that server, though. I've been much happier since.
And for those wondering, the joke was this:
"TERFs are horrible video editors. They don't know how transitions work!"
I swear sweet commando did 70% of these illustrations.
