    Thanks for doing this with light/dark color pants so that we can see the leg lockdowns better.

    “ True Martial Skill is death disguised in elegance”
    “ It is the units that completes the whole”
    Your channel has been of tremendous help Sir.
    Truly appreciate the amount of effort you put into sharing your expertise with all of us.
    The intricacies within each movement and the minuscule but still incremental beyond all important details that actually makes up the entire context of the techniques themselves, and the amount of information that you bring in regards to every single aspect of the entirety of its application is nothing but sublime.
    Many neglect the importance of protecting one’s exposed extremities/ limbs( headbutts from mount/ top control are a thing) and as a background in working security I’ve seen firsthand how bad it can get, especially for the guy on the bottom with his head against the pavement/ marble/ tile floor, and they are brutally efficient in their simplicity. So that you actually make the effort to address all the above issues( especially for those who are new to the MMA scene) as well as in regards to self defense/deserves our greatest appreciations.
    An honor to be able to observe and learn Sir.
    Sincere regards.

    One example of this position in use is Mayhem Miller vs Sakuraba.
    Miller didn’t have the lockdown so it wasn’t technically Stoner Control, but he did have the leg drag and top pressure and had lots of free shots and a wide open arm triangle for the win.

    Man good stuff, it's crazy how much the meta changes with strikes. What would normally be an intermediate position for passing, all of sudden becomes a devastating position of control.
    Makes one wonder how jiujitsu would have evolved if it kept strikes in there.

    Question for you coach:
    Eddie Bravo systemized a BJJ style specifically for MMA. For MMA specifically. So why, with thousands of professional MMA fighters around the world, is there only a handful of people using it?
    Thanks

    • @model84
      @model84 4 года назад

      moiblity, and Eddie said that gi is the problem and u need 'universal' grips/techniques, not that it's specifically for MMA

    • @hunterstatham2147
      @hunterstatham2147 4 года назад

      It is a whole system. That takes time and reps to learn. Ben Saunders, tony Ferguson are 10th planet guys watch them

    • @kallepikku4991
      @kallepikku4991 4 года назад +1

      Ferguson is a wrestler with a mixed bag of everything. He's a straight up?killer. He doesn't use any rubber guard or lockdown in any of his matches.

    • @leocoelho12
      @leocoelho12 4 года назад

      instead of going full eletric chair (going up on your elbows after the eletric underhooks) you just roll the guy sideways and drag the leg on your sholder to the other side

      nassbomb anything is high percentage if you work it enough. The lockdown sweep he is showing has been used quite a bit in other promotions besides ufc
