I just recently built my first HG GM, the RGM-79 Missile Pod MSD version, and it easily hit my top 3 of my HG kits. I didn’t think I would like GMs at all until I built this one. Especially since I’m using it to learn some beginner customization techniques and it’s looking better already.
Very inspiring work! The attention to detail on this is unparalleled! Seeing the modification process definitely inspires me to delve further into getting out of my comfort zone!
Really nice work, honestly a bit too much black in the scheme for my taste, but I loved seeing the process, techniques, and showing the paints and ratios.
That's fair. Color schemes are subjective. I guess that's why this kit is PBandai in the first place. Not many people will get it because of the scheme.
I need to ask... how long did it take you to achieve this? How long for this specific kit? How long have you been doing this and how many kits? I feel , at my current pace/knowledge level.. this would be a many-month/multi-year project, just for one kit! EDIT: Forgot to add - This is insanely good! Congratulations
Thank you very much. It took me about 6 weeks. Would have 4-5 if I didn't take a vacation in between. I've been detailing and painting kits for 2 years now exactly. I've done about 20 kits. That's ok man. Do it at your own pace. Once you learn the different skills and techniques and you do it a couple of time, the process definitely speeds up.
They do the same function. I have both because I can't afford a full set of SAB chisels. Even when I started I only had Dspiae and Madworks. I replaced broken chisels with SAB when I could afford it.
Stellar work man! You did that orange real justice!
Thanks man! I was unsure until I put it all together.
Beautiful results! Loved the process from beginning to end! 😊
Doing this kit, this suit really grew on me. Have you guys built any kit that you didn't expect you would love in the end?

@@dennis-joelferrer oh man. I was luke warm with GMs at best but when I build the HG GM Moroccan Front type, I understood why people liked GMs.
Amazing work mate, color scheme and shading on point! Amazing editing too with the video. Keep it up!
I appreciate it bro!

Awesome work, the weathering is very tasteful 👌
Thank you. I tried to make it purposeful.
Saw your post on Reddit. That was a lit of orange. But, it turned out looking great.
I wasn't sure about it until the very end. Thank you!
10/10!! Great job!
🙌🏼 thank you for that rating!
Awesome custom work Brother, I wish Bandai would give us the MG Cgue Deep Arms.
That would be so cool if they did. Insta buy from me.
That came out great! How much time did you spend on the customizing part of the build?
Thank you. I don't how many hours exactly I poured into customizing but I did them in the course of two, may 2 and a half weeks.

Do the madworks chisels and SAB chisels have different applications? Why do you have both?
They do the same function. I have both because I can't afford a full set of SAB chisels. Even when I started I only had Dspiae and Madworks. I replaced broken chisels with SAB when I could afford it.
@@johnnymechahandah okay thanks for clarifying. Magnificent build btw I love the customization
@@dragginforce sure bro. And thank you!
Your Skadis is empty?
Lol. Not really. I have two levels of skadis so most of the other stuff I don't use or stuff that are distracting in the background are up higher.
how long did that took you?
About a month and a half.
