That young fella summed it up spot on at the end of the vid, and good on him for saying so. How sad this country has become, losing our legendary machinery manufacturer.
I was with a friend on the highway near Underbool in victoria, and I was telling him about these guys that tow caravans with chamberlain tractors all across Australia. Being from Sydney, he was incredulous..........and then, in the most extraordinary moment of IRONY..........we passed a platoon of Chamberlain tractors towing their vans. On really rough, dirt roads.......50km/hr is not that much of a disadvantage.
Can someone tell me why Chamberlin Champion 9G does not have Heritage Status. Designed and built in Welshpool Western Australia and still going in 2024, that in itself must say something about its heritage value, be worth more now than when they were first made. People have to start jumping up and down, that young bloke is doing a good job, but he cannot do it on his own.
the main limitation is the speed rating of the tyres. A long time ago, a special Chamberlain was built for the Redex bash in the outback that is rumored to do 100 km/hr, it was called tail end charlie because it was the only thing available to pull out all the bogged or broken down cars.

Thanks Buzzbox, much appreciated

What’s the top speed on these tractors? Nice video 👍
G'day Diesel, top speed is 50 km/h
@@TradefarmmachineryAu thanks for the info. Beautiful tractors. Wish we could travel like that here in the states 👍

Something a bit different..
you told us nothing about the 9g , you spent all the time pating yourself on your back !!
The fools eat up a set of rear tires and wasted a lot of diesel on that fool's errand.
