Kendo mains are one of the best players hands down, they know every combo known to man. They are really good team mates but it's hard to find wild kendo players nowadays.
You're doing really well with her. Fantastic job. Just a few more tips i can give here tho. 1. After using her finisher its best to do 1 jab or dodge roll out of it cuz she a bit of an animation lag after the initial finish. (Some other characters have it too) 2. 10:35 The Shigaraki didnt actually go through your shield there. Kendo's shield has a very slight delay before its officially in effect. When you pull it out it flashes after expanding and thats when its active. He grabbed you just before the flash. As for the Momo later on, she just hit you at the side. Happens alot with Momo encounters. And finally, i dont know if you remember but a while ago i told you there was a bug with her where all her charges from her alpha or gamma get used up instantly after a shield hit. 17:21 it happened there.
Oh damn never knew her finisher had more end lag and didn’t even realize that the 2 claps I had got used up in one go 😭 also didn’t realize the shield took a bit to go active too so thanks for the tips 🙏

I just began playing kendo cause I went “what the heck never played her” first game was a win with 5 kills and almost 4000 damage, I’m now a Kendo main working progress (love your videos btw very relatable lol) also learned my favorite combo is Ibara grab and Kendo clap near insta kill
You should try shield dashing (or shield glide) , when dashing to the side flick your shield (don’t hold) and you’ll go slightly further and if you time it right it’ll block projectiles sometimes without using shield stamina you can even throw in an alpha at the end if you wanna throw in some damage, saved me from getting tagged teamed by Aizawa and Dabi
Every day he gets closer to embracing dabi kind. I actually got in a rando kendo mood today too, and kaminari. Went pretty crazy with both lotta 10+ kill w's in a row. pretty rare for me with how sweaty my lobbies have been this season lol I haven't seen the jab reset combo you've been trying to show actually. I am pretty good at her other tech and movement. I want to master so many more though. I feel like she has such an insane skill cap but she's so hard to use optimally and has no movement without all the tech. It gets kinda rough at times I really want to master her again.
One day the Dabi hate will truly fade from me 😔 and if I didn’t play every character I’d actually like to take the time to learn kendo more thoroughly. Like you said without the tech her movement is severely hindered and I lack that 😭

I’ve been trying to play more characters recently, but a big problem that always occurs to me is what do I level up first? I’m obviously not asking for like a specific guide, but what’s like, the “generic” answer? *also, rip boxes 🙏*
Usually whatever is that characters main attack or what you want to be your main attack. There’s some exceptions like some characters need to get multiple moves to a certain level like Froppy needs alpha and beta at level 4 since that’s when they both get 3 shots but most characters like Deku upgrading main attack is the way
I picked up Kendo after I had begun to play Mr Compress a lot when I first discovered the game. Playing Kendo and realizing her crazy aggressive duel potential made me realize that she fits the opposite category that Mr Compress does. Don't get me wrong, Compress is fun to play, but he often can't 2v1 quite like a Kendo can! Using your shield more like a parry tool against melee chararters can also easily shut them down, such as All Might and Kirishima. Bear in mind, her claps aren't just damage, they're your mobility too! A note, the first time I picked up Kendo and started using her Tech, I got 3 Unranked wins in a row, which felt pretty nice
Yeah using the shield as a parry is something I gotta do more. I feel like like when I try to tho I still get hit and they get staggered which isn’t ideal tho

Mine is barely changed from default just 110 x and y sens and everything else default. Just personal preference. For me since I play a lot of characters I just kept it where it was basically but if I purely maimed someone like rapid bakugo I would’ve made it higher
Kendo is too hard for me to play but I love kendo gameplay and praise anyone that plays her. The only players that I fear are kendo mains just cause of how versitile they get in battle
You’ll probably get a decent chunk from season rewards plus the season 5 battle pass and the upcoming weekly tickets. Ideally all that should give you the tickets you need and they might give another 100 for reaching amateur pro and ace rank which at the very least amateur doesn’t take long to acquire
