Hey Jaime, can you further explain your reasoning behind slow playing at 1:49? UTG open would likely be a pretty strong holding and likely to call your 3 bet. Flatting also gives the BB a very good price to call with a very wide range and then you are out of position 3 handed as opposed to being the aggressor heads up. Let me know! Thanks!
its prolly cuz his range has close to zero 3bet bluffs there out of SB vs UTG 24bb deep so it would look very strong and his hand would look kinda face up and ppl could exploit him by overfolding in this spot so his range is prolly constructed of 3bet jams or calls with hands like 99 and TT AQs/AQo at some frequency and JJ-QQ-AK prolly pure 3bet jam and than some calling hands like AA/KK and maybe smth like suit brodways or 77-88 if he would have some 3bet bluff range he could 3bet with strong hands such is AA/KK/QQ/AK maybe even JJ at some frequency but cuz he is almost never 3bet bluffing there best option is to just call with AA/KK cuz its too much to 3bet jam and you dont wanna kill the hand by jaming
I wonder how it does feel to find your brother always on the late stage of tourney with big stack, I believe it must be the easiest opponenet as you know each other well. :)
what is that fold with AQo at 27:50 first hand at FT my eyes hurt :( ure clearly the shortest stack chip leader is prolly opening like 50-60% of hands like any Ks As most Qs any suit connectors close to all offsuit aces all brodweys the flat out of 50bb stack looks little scary but still AQo is too strong hand to pass this spot to pickup 53k chips and since its bounty cou can even get called from the MP guy with hands you crush like KQs AJs and i dont think you are almost ever behind vs MP guy maybe sometimes he can flat like AA which you block and payjumps are not that significant so he is not gonna just flat hands like QQ/AK cuz of icm i think. he could have hands like 88/99/TT/JJ but ure flipping against those.. idk correct me if i am wrong.. but its clear 3bet jam in my eyes
Actually the MP guy can have some strong hands that call in this spot because the risk premium against the cheap leader is very high. It’s better for him call and play some strong hands in position against a wide range and play post flop rather than 3bet and face a 4bet jam. At least that’s what I think.
I was questioning this play as well, was going to leave a comment asking his thought process on that. I feel like in that spot w CL opening and a flat I’m shipping it all day long too off that stack.
I don't know if you're able to realize, but there's 4 players in the pot. He has the worst position you can have. He has the shortest stack. That's not a bad laydown whatsoever.
@@hadiabdallah6795 there was 3 players one was on BB left to act who could call his allin maybe with QQ+AK maybe not even AKo and than chip leader who is opening like 60-70% if not more with that stack distribution and than call from middle/late position and the fact that he is the short stack should only increse his 3bet jaming range cuz there no big "icm pressure for him since he is short. so i think its jam all day long
Yeah.. tbh that’s the tough part about poker to accept. When the deck hits you at the right time, you’re rich, and when it doesn’t, you were almost rich.
Good old Staples running good. Nice to see ! GL !

later on you can see that chipleader is opening even hands like 95s
