This is the only game I bought 4 times. I bought Ninja Gaiden, Then Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Then Ninja Gaiden Vita, the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection on PC.
@@Trevelyan2 While this might be the case generally speaking it is agreed upon in the NG community that NG : Black and NG : Sigma are both just straight up better than the original because of their camera re-center feature. Sigma also added a few QoL changes, graphical upgrades (controversial) and not so well-received female chapters. Some of the general improvements made are : - Better enemy variety throughout the higher difficulties - Mission mode - Camera re-center - Better difficulty system - Manual UT charge There are some merits with the original, though I think the improvements made in both remasters wildly outweigh these pros : - - Light Saber and Ninja of The Future is exclusively on the original - Only the original features NG+, albeit quite barebones - Hurricane Pack DLC made for some extra hours of fun with the Intercept skill (only available on hacked Xbox titles or emulators) Edit : I realised you actually were playing Black in this video and didn't use the camera re-centering? I think you need to press R3 before being able to freely move the camera haha
I like how the best VA in this game is just Totally Not Darth Vader. Creamy delicious cheese. This scratches a Devil May Cry shaped itch in my brain I haven't felt in some time. Definitely gotta share at least part of the dev team, given that telltale 00's flair dripping throughout. Major female characters are near always stacked and/or dominatrixes; loud percussive techno during battles; sword and sorcery based combat with ludicrously cool traversal mechanics. And of course, difficulty that either grinds you to jelly, or refines you to diamond. I miss this era.
the closest you'll ever get to a Ninja Scroll game, along with part 2 truly legendary. also never hold block or stand still, always keep moving and tap block.
We need more games with TN's style of gameplay that you see in NG, Nioh, Wo Long, etc. Basically fast paced actions games that don't hold your hand. Kind of tired of the Souls genre as too many people think they are badasses because they can beat those games. NG games would eat these people for dinner.
That’s the thing that I feel that is misinterpreted with dark souls.. The lack of hand holding is specifically what makes it so much fun, not necessarily the fact you have to fight bosses 80 times.

Those cut scenes have an impressive polish and detail to them. The faces look alive
This game and the flashy combos was crack for me when it came out.
I can safely say the crack is still viable.

Many games get remasters but I don’t think you can top the original experience.

TNDV’s introduction at 9:30 is probably one of my favorite cutscenes ever. That’s how you do the “lose automatically” mechanic- you don’t even play.
