A potential topic for discussion (apologies if you already have) .....This week Diaz father saying the Luis wants to play for Barcelona and has always been a Barca fan....what's your view on players supporting other teams? Does it matter? Should they keep it a secret? Most of our players probably aren't life-long reds.

Great show lads, loved the content about Southport. I work there and found the it quite interesting. I can confirm there are quite a few Tories about 😅 as a side not, when I was moving up from down South, I went to view a house in Ainsdale and binned it off cause it didn’t have an ‘L’ postcode 😂
Great point about having a go and getting battered. I think the attitude often comes from other team's fans- they wanna see exciting games, just not necessarily involving our own teams. A procession of safe 3-0 wins and a few odd nail-biters to remember the season by is what most fans want, and some classic battles amongst other games.

Robbo, your labelling of Birkdale as Tory in your piece about the coronation was wrong (I’ve mentioned this before!) and Southport being a typical Tory enclave is also wrong. It was LibDem for years as the town voted for one man, Ronnie Fearn. It went Tory at the last General Election as so many other places did. But people hate the Tories and I’m certain they’ll lose here next year. Whether that’s to Labour or the LibDems, I couldn’t say at this point. How do I know this? I fucking live in Birkdale!
On the Knightrider/Airwolf/Streethawk theme, do you lads remember Riptide the same show again but with a speedboat as the investigative vehicle of choice? It didn't quite catch the imagination like the other shows, probably because they were a bit fucked using a speedboat to investigate land based crime and it was also just proper shite. Also while Southport Pier may only be the 2nd longest in the country, it is still the longest pier in the world that you can stand on the far end of (when it is open) and still not be able to see the sea (even when you pay to look through those crap mounted binoculars that look like they have crusty wool jizz on the eyepieces). Good luck with the paywall plan, I do like your footy show and just the two of you taking about shit generally, so I think I might just stop being a freeloader and pay to see behind the paywall when you move shows over. I think others will pay too, so hopefully everything will continue being sound. Sound.

Man, it's all a bit of an overreaction to Ange. An enthusiasm to see him fail. His style had Spurs top of the league after 10 games and well ahead of conventional expectation, but as soon as the style backfires in a one-off sort of game with 2 red cards, his style needs to be questioned? Before the red cards they were all over Chelsea. I don't get it. How many more times this year will Spurs be a man down? It just feels like a criticism everyone had been waiting weeks and weeks to make. If from hereon in, his style only gets exposed with red cards, then I think he'll take that!
