@@camillethorsteinson1980 Only a few small rock chips were filled in with touch-up paint as all the impact areas had PPF(Paint Protection Film) on them since the car was new. No paint work was needed, it still has original paint. We removed the PPF, polished the car and installed new PPF.
This is an awesome turnaround. I’m guessing the owner had the budget to restore his car to it’s original brilliance and I certainly hope he was happy with the result. Great explanation to your process as well.
Thank you Wayne, yes the owner was blown away by the results and was grinning from ear to ear for sure. With crazy vehicle prices now and this car becoming rare it made sense to invest the time into it. Due to all of our processes, products and teaching the owner how to handle and maintain clearly shows what can be accomplished and how important they are in protecting your investment.
I would spend a bit more time and take the wheels off, a lot of road tar accumulates on the inside of the wheels and is very hard to see/remove without removing the wheels. You could also detail the inside of the fender wells.

I first detailed a car 1967 and have seen some real bad ones since that time. It was not called DETAILING in those days just called "having your car cleaned". There is something very special about completing a job such as the BMW you did here. I am curious as to what you charged for this amazing piece of work. I love watching what you do and always pick up something new. Thanks for your work.
Thank you John, It was a big job and the whole team at Auto Obsessed were involved in this project, we cannot disclose costs or specific details as this is a client car but the labor on the car was in excess of 40 man hours with the PPF. The videography work took over 100 man hours.
We use CarPro Iron X and for our preference we do not dry the car after the first wash, with the car wet we move on to iron removal and don't dry the car until it's last(final)hand wash.

What is the cost of a job like this? I am very interested in doing all this on my Audi S8 2016, But your always closed by the time i get off work so have not been able to come in and ask you guys.

Yes, exactly most people cut corners when it comes to protecting their property such as a car but when buying a new phone buy the warranty, glass protection shield and case which is around 20% of the cost of the phone. If you did 10% to a car it will amazing protection and would allow a much higher resale.

We did the best we could to cut down the time and still show and tell enough about the car, a total of 40 man hours in detailing and PPF that took 100 man hours to video. Hopefully you were able to take something positive away from the video.
Noted, some people comment that they appreciate the extra effort that we do to provide verbal education and others do not. We hope that you were able to learn something from this video. Thank you for watching.
This owner is a filthy person... How you let your car get to this state... Glad that there's not job hard for your'll... Maybe im mad because this is my all time favorite car.
Life gets busy and even though it was in need of a thorough cleaning the car was not damaged in any way. The owner had the right things done to the car and it did go through maintenance processes which is why the car looks the way it does now. Many cars get extremely damaged from the owners not doing the right things and day to day handling damages beyond repair. In this case no damages, the seats, carpets, head liner etc., just needed some love and looks like new again.

Were there any paint touch ups required?

This is a lot of work. Looks Brand new. 😍🥰. This is not cheap to pay inside out.
Absolutely, a lot of work but well worth it for sure. Thank you for watching.
My M3 needs this!
We can take care of it, book it in!
I've heard the car should be wet when applying the de-iron solution ? Does that depend on the product ?
In this video we are using CarPro Iron X which can be used on a dry or wet car, we prefer to use it when the car is wet.
Is it really necessary to dry the car between the hand wash and iron removal?

Hi! Very professionnal job, I love it! Can I ask you how much it cost in average to prepare a car like that? Thank you

Wow what joke people can't clean a car
