Read this for the first time this year leading up to Christmas and absolutely loved it! I don’t read a lot of indies but this makes me want to. I’ve been making my siblings read it too
Fantastic review! I still want to pick this deluxe edition up sooner, rather than later. Dan Mora's art is just fantastic. He's easily become my favorite artist in these past couple of years.

I got the fancy Kickstarter version with the red cloth cover with gold lettering and a Slipcase, it has gold gilded edges and that red and white Scandinavian pattern on the endpapers plus a red ribbon, it came with a seperate treasury sized version of the Pen and ink first issue and a set of gift tags. I'm not sure if it has a higher page count or not, looks about the same
@@ashleysmith640 You can't it was a kickstarter, only available for a limited time. Your only chance is if someone sells theirs on e bay, but be prepared for an astronomical cost
I got the three hardcovers (no B&W commentary in my version 😟 ) last Christmas. Absolutely love them. I think I need this hardcover for the ribbon and the pen & ink, and I'll gift the hardcovers to a friend next X-Mas.
I know what I’m spending my Christmas money on. This and Gaiman’s Norse mythology. Also Dan Mora is one of my favorite artists. Whether it be power rangers or World’s finest, the man never misses with his art. Also Morrison at his peak? I’m down.

I think it would have been informative if Omar had taken a little more time for a comparison since he had the hardcover there at the beginning of the video. Great video otherwise.
@@rowellj89 Yes, my understanding is that the 3 hardcovers contain the same material as "Complete Edition". And same page size. Just all in 1 book as opposed to 3 separate books.

Heard a lot of good things about this series. Gonna give it a Hoopla read and then decide if I want it in my collection. My limited shelf space...

Is this bigger page size than the individual hardcovers? Amazon has them listed at the same size unless I'm mistaken, but it looks a little bigger.
