4:08 the lost boys is barely a franchise all that marks the 2nd movie as part of the series is small edgar frog cameo and the third one is just... like its almost a blade movie more than anything else its bizarre.

I’m not really a sci-fi person either but Alien is definitely worth a watch. One of the greats
I tend to get along with sci-fi better when it's married to horror, so I do anticipate enjoying it at some point!
