This film makes me wish all the X-Men movies were rated R. This movie is a masterpiece. I love the Deadpool movies but Logan just hits different. Logan is an emotional roller coaster for sure. Deadpool is a fun time at the box office. I've always loved Wolverine as a kid. Playing the game I would choose Gambit or Wolverine. Hugh Jackman really did an amazing job portraying him. He's slightly too tall but it works.
I just be the only person in the universe who thinks Deadpool is genuinely effortlessly over rated, and stupid because all he does is make fun of super heroes.
This is such an incredible stunt sequence that the coordinator pulled off so convincingly for Logan. To make it work they had some sort of wire rigging to pull the actors back to capture the whole resisting sequence.
That wasn't how it was done at all. Hugh Jackman simply acted like it was hard to move with everyone else standing as still as they could and they just shook the camera while filming, stabilized the footage in post and added some kind of rippling blur effect to simulate the intensity of Xavier's powers. *Film Riot* did a video on this shortly after the movie had come out.
Well, this tells you what happened in Westchester to the X-Men. Xavier completely lost control of his powers due to advancing Dementia, like he does here, but he Logan didn't get to him in time there and only he had a healing factor...
The ones he stabbed through the brain would just drop to the floor like a sack of potatoes, not just stand there frozen afterwards...as Charles is making them all hold still via their brains. He's a telepath, not a telekenetic. The ones he stabs through the heart you could argue might still stand around with their brains still intact for the final 15 seconds of the scene. Would've been a cool touch.
I always took it as whatever was left of their brains being kept a hold of until Charles's episode was over. As much as Logan stabbed them in the heads, it doesn't mean there wasn't still something of their brains left there. It isn't like The Walking Dead, you don't destroy the whole thing that quick.
@@armorofgod1430 yeah I did. He wasn’t intentionally hurting people nor did he ever have evil intent. Tf u talking bout. Xavier is the leader of the X-men he is a GOOD guy. If he wanted to he could f everyone up but he chooses not to. Only happened on ACCIDENT because of his old age and dementia.
I have to say Logan looks way better with a full beard as opposed to his classic mutton chops. The full beard makes him look way more feral and like a warrior.
I hated this scene when I watched it because why are they not dropping when he puts his claws through their heads? Charles isn't stopping time just pausing their brains. The ones who die should drop on the spot not after the seizure is over...
Oh dang... you're absolutely correct but I think the director and coordinator did it for cinematic visual effects. You gotta admit it looks so cool when all of them drop at the same time.
True, he just never managed to gain that much control and instead focused on the mind reading, or his mutation was slowly evolving as he got older. Or maybe it is just a psychological problem from getting too old
I wish I will have the super human health without the claws of Logan wolverine instead the claws i prefer super human martial arts skills like iko uwais
It’s likely some people at the hotel died because of Charles and knowing how heartbroken he was I feel even worse for him.
U r ru!Ning the scene
Ya logen killed them

That's such a good mix you pointed out and it works great in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie!
It's not about how tall the actor is, it's about how he puts in the work and portrays the character
@@MichaelF-cc8ri honestly watching that movie was just nothing but cringe as fuck…
I remember this scene was tense as f$&k seeing it the first time in the theater.
I remember it was like a breath of fresh air when he got his meds
the audience was going crazy too 🔥
Agreed. It was awesome

Wow I did not know that, that is awesome
There was no such thing. I should know as I was there.

Bringing claws to a gunfight >>>>
Well, it worked out for him here cuz everyone was frozen.
It works when you have self-healing.

I thought about this but then you wouldn't have that cool shot of them all dropping at the same time. Cool beats logic, always.
It shows how strong Wolverine is even in his weakened beat up stage, manages to walk while everyone else is just standstill
Charles is Pulling His Domain Expansion
Jujutsu kaisen type shit
I suppose this is what Gojo's domain looks like
Damn fine movie
Mfers are lucky Charles is a good guy.
you even watch the movie?

@@ricotufts3276 Those attacks are killing him though.. he killed the good guys anyway. But yeah, evil Xavier is next level strong, if not invincible.

Why does Magneto's bucket prevent Professor X from interfering with his mind but Wolverine's skull being laced with metal does not?
Ears have a closer link to the brain, so Magneto is safe because his ears are covered
so the movie can happen
Logan is my favorite of all the x-men movies. The sad part is… professor X was wrong all along. Mutants can’t exist with humans.

Maybe a delay and they don't die right away
Charles is also telekinetic . This was touched on many times in the comics

I want to see green screen action fights not an actual story wtf 🤓

This ain’t X-men. lol it’s the ending of Logan’s story. Not another x men adventure
