  • New Podcast Alert! 🚨 On today’s episode Raashaun & Gia discuss the pros and cons of having kids at an early age, versus having kids in your 40s. With experience on both ends of the spectrum, they weigh in on the topic. They discuss some of the differences between being a young parent vs. being an older parent. During this segment, Gia expresses the importance of freezing eggs for women of a certain age who are not yet ready to have children. The convo then shifts as they discuss some common do’s and dont’s in a relationship. How comfortable are you going to the bathroom around your partner? 👀 Are some things just off the table even if you’ve “ been together forever”? They end the episode with two very similar yet interesting emails that share the topic of, “Caring for your spouses feelings when dealing with a serious and sensitive issue.” Let’s just say one of email’s subject line read, “Snores Himself To Divorce…” Yikes! 😅 Let’s talk about it…🗣️🗣️

    My father refused to wear his CPAP mask at night. He swears he only needs it to clear his congestion. After almost 20 years of not using it he was diagnosed with dementia. His neurologist said that the lack of oxygen at night has escalated his condition. He is strong in body, but he can’t remember what happened sometimes minutes ago. His health is rapidly declining all because he refused to wear his mask.
    Sometimes you don’t have to wear the mask all night. Wear the mask!

    Great episode, now as a wife of someone with sleep apnea I’ll say I don’t know how loud his snoring is BUT I find peace laying beside him bc MOST time if some has sleep apnea they stop breathing. It’s been times I don’t get good sleep but it’s not the snoring nor the Machine. And honestly the sleep apnea machine isn’t that loud. Just my opinion I think it’s something deeper than that. My husband didn’t know he had sleep apnea until I told him I had to hit his chest to be sure he started back breathing. Idk hope her situation gets better. (Sorry for the bad grammar.) I do know everyone Sleep Apnea is different but I hope he considers her stand point bc it is SERIOUS.

    ❤Gia! So yes maybe you guys should revisit the sleep apnea with a specialist. I'm hearing there is better technology in 2024 to treat the sleep apnea medical condition other than the old school CPAP mask. I experienced this serious issue in a previous relationship, it was very unromantic and frustrating because, I like the wife in the email, was unable to sleep. Ultimately, my ex and I slept in different rooms. My ex was very sensitive as well and like DJ Envy said, I think he would feel uncomfortable and embarrassed with wearing the mask to bed to sleep. The best of luck to all couples who have and are struggling with this. At this point snoring is a complete turn off for me for a life partner. 🙏😍

    40+ pregnancies for me were more difficult because of multiple miscarriages. I had children in my mid 20s and again at 30. I waited a long time and then had a baby when I was 40 when at 42 with my baby girl. Between the two, at 41 we suffered a miscarriage. Our ages were the reason. We recently lost our twins (at 11 weeks pregnant) due to miscarriage. I'm 47 years old. It was a natural pregnancy, but with my geriatric eggs, the babies were at high risk of miscarrying. I highly recommend women have their children before 40, if possible. I wouldn't wish a miscarriage (or multiple ones) on anyone. FREEZE YOUR EGGS young ladies.

    Welcome back guy. I remember this Brooklyn blanket story. This junk was so funny. I'm so happy Urma is back. Gia is Payton anything like your mom? I believe in the Covid babies. I think they have the best reincarnated spirits. Wonder who she was in a past life?
    Ps Gia. I did your face routine from years ago. I'm a long time listener. It work amazingly. You should have had a Tatcha campaign from back then. Just saying. Any new product you like now a days. Lawd that sound so islander 😂😂 Payton is a joy.
    I have always wanted to be an older mom. I just always saw grandmother have the best child raising results. Most young parents don't have the ability to support the children growth while they themselves are growing.

    Sleep Apnea is dangerous because the person stops breathing while sleeping! My partner has it and I'm the one that told him to get a sleep study done! Thank God I did, I sleep better knowing he's able to wake up instead of what could happen if he doesn't have the mask. By the way the machines they have now don't make any noise and the "mask" just goes over his nose so he can still kiss with it on (if needed)! Welcome back and please don't leaus again! Also congratulations on Peyton she's adorable! I love you both ❤❤!

  • @SickOfdaOrdinary
    @SickOfdaOrdinary 4 месяца назад

    I had the same argument with my husband. The mask is because when tested he stopped breathing for 2+ minutes at a time. It’s not just about snoring. And to not wear the mask is to play with his life which is selfish. Also, my husband was upset every time I nudged him. Like smacking his lips hugging and puffing leaving the room. So for a while we weren’t in the same room. I know many men who refuse to wear it and they don’t sleep in the same room with their wives.

  • @Soopaflhi1

    I totally agree with Envy the husband is insecure about having sleep apnea.. that mask is like dark vator & Envy u should have flipped it on Gia how would she feel if she had to wear that contraption to bed every night?? Very unsexy .. I dated a guy with it & i knew it wouldn’t last it was a mess! Between the snoring & the mask I was like HELL NO! These days are numbered!! Maybe homie needs to lose some weight perhaps that’s a solution.

    My husband has sleep apnea and the mask is not loud at all i know it's sometimes uncomfortable for him but the alternative is worse!! Wife needs to bring all the long term affects of sleep apnea as opposed to something being embarrassing!! It's literal life saving.

    I could care less about passing gas in front of my husband. Here’s why. When we first got together I had to use it and I didn’t want to because he was at my house. My stomach hurt and I was like would he just go to the store or anything so I can have a moment to go to the bathroom. Then one day we went ti Wal Mart and he passed gas and was joking like it was me. He smelled so bad and I was laughing but mad. Then he passes gas all the time. He comes in the bathroom when I’m using it and talks to me. I can never use the restroom in peace. Then he comes in the bathroom when I’m doing my makeup and uses it. So I could care less about that. He made me comfortable enough to do it.
