    Great example and explanation. I think in the defuzzification you chose different value but its ok, the explanation is clear. Please also use different colour markers in other videos. Stay blessed.

    I guess there are some mistakes in the defuzzification part, the two points must be 0.2 and 0.3 ( you have written 0.2 and 0.4) and both the intersection values you have taken are from the 0.3 (y-axis) straight line, while one intersection must be considered from the 0.2 y-axis coordinate. I might be wrong here, but please clarify this. Thank you :)

      I second that. The 0.2 intersection that applies rule 2 is not considered. The points taken are for the intersection of 0.3 with the medium and high tip charts. However, the explanation is great. Thanks to the publisher.

    Hi mam and thanks for explanation;
    But i have a question regarding the intersections.
    In the tip graph, normally, according to the rule, if Service is AVG then tip is medium. Now when you perform intersection of 0.2 with the Medium region, normally you shoud have two intersection points (As Medium has a triangular shape) so it should be something about 2% and something about 21% (approximatively). so final tip should be [0.2x(2+21) +0.3x19] /[0.2+0.2+0.3];
    That is if I understood well

    Also one doubt mam, y shouldnt we take the point where 0.2 intersects the membership function in the tip graph?
    Both the intersection points are taken for 0.4 here.
