Meanwhile with a bit of cheats I buffed the black league because every fucking time they get batov’d. Full wholesome run, but I had to attract the OFN for aid. Yazov defeated the WRRF (by war) and they got Ustinov and Yepishev as generals. With cheats I managed to annex Omsk and get their divisions and get their generals (including Yazov) Now, we March on, no cheats for the invasion of Germany, only cheating for making Glenn president of US, so he can denuclearize the world. Bormann is pretty buffed, they got Moskowien, Ostland, Poland, Norway, Ukraine, and they got even half of the Balkans and Britain(Thatcher) in their side. I created a bunch of divisions. Black league bunkers, partisan divisions, and OFN-Japanese support.
Funfact: For whatever reason Sablin is listed as one of the leaders that can adopt BurgSys, with Buryatia even having a custom flag for this. Although it is disabled and is likely a joke path similar to Monarchist Speer, there IS still an AuthSoc path for Sablin, and it is very likely that Buryatia can end up bordered/defeated by madmen like Yagoda, Yazov, Taboritsky, Vagner, Suslov, Auth Stalina, Rod, Velimir, Tuka, Dirlewanger, Lyesnko, Gumilyov, Serov, SBA/White Army Coups, etc. Any of which could be used as justification for everyone's favorite wholesome naval cadet to fall off the deep end.

I think the most likely outcome would be a lot like what happened in OTL, where the Germans in Prussia, Silesia and Pomerania were all exiled to the modern area of Germany.
That would mean they would reach Germany. I doubt any unifier would be able to get that far without getting nuked by Germany prior. But yeah, that the Germans in Eastern Europe would be deported seems very plausible.

Given one of Sablin's choices is whether to execute the worst of the NKVD or be the better man and give them all fair trials, I can see him if he retains his morals basically forcibly expel all Germans with only the clothes on their backs and nothing else while making sure the worst offenders are tried and given a proper sentence. Men too, given that if he goes to war against Tabby, even he can't spare mercy out of sheer horror and genuine disgust for all of his crimes. Some evils are beyond even God's forgiveness. Ultimately I can see them being somewhat vindicated in a "Let them suffer in Germany, they will with how badly things are going there anyway."

I get the feeling that “le holesum chungus Sablinus” is going to get a massive reality check in TNO2, either before or during the Second WRW. “What do you mean giving all my political and military enemies a slap on the wrist will backfire tremendously?”
I just hope there is a way for Sablin to nevertheless manage to achieve his goals, morals in-tact. Even if it is difficult, all the sweeter the victory.

Losts of things could have been changed, no matter how minor or major, good or terrible. There’s that one option that changes everything in a way, it may be globally or regionally. Other universes which right now are ‘what if’s’, but… maybe they did happen. Just not in our timeline, we’re lucky to not live in TNO, TWR or other mods/universes made for our enjoyment in Hearts of Iron IV.
You know it pains me to realize more and more day by day that I do not belong in this society. I do not belong in any society currently. Maybe a few, but they are long gone. Not even small ones.
If upon every God-given miracle that the New Order falls to the OFN without nuclear war, I feel that Stablin’s USSR and the USA would have an infinitely more positive relationship than OTL’s Cold War. Since both nations had sacrificed so much to defeat a truly totalitarian enemy and Stablin’s more libertarian policies, I feel that this post-war world would be one of mourning, prosperity, and cooperation
As someone who doesn't play TNO, could someone explain the story behind this? Based on the comments I'm guessing Sablin reunites the USSR only to become a horrific, genocidal maniac?
There is a great deal of lore in TNO about Russia, but to summarize (spoilers): Sablin starts off leading a rebellion against an NKVD warlord (Genrikh Yagoda) based upon an idealistic, libertarian interpretation of Leninism. If he succeeds, he then goes on to try to recreate the USSR. Throughout the playthrough, the player, as Sablin faces a series of problems where Sablin must choose between staying true to the ideals which first sparked his revolution, or to go with more pragmatic, but far less idealistic solutions that more resemble the USSR under Bukharin (the one who succeeded Lenin in TNO instead of Stalin, who, while not establishing a regime as brutal as Stalin’s, was far from the idealistic communist system that Sablin first envisions when he launches his rebellion against Yagoda). Most of these comments are likely referring to the number of paths that some nations can take that seem “innocent,” for definite lack of a better word, at first, but turn out to be utter nightmares, as while Sablin can definitely end up creating a Bukharin-esque USSR, he doesn’t delve into things like genocide (though there are other Russian warlords that horrific, genocidal maniac only begin to describe how bad they are).

Ultimately I can see them being somewhat vindicated in a "Let them suffer in Germany, they will with how badly things are going there anyway."

If upon every God-given miracle that the New Order falls to the OFN without nuclear war, I feel that Stablin’s USSR and the USA would have an infinitely more positive relationship than OTL’s Cold War. As someone who doesn't play TNO, could someone explain the story behind this?
Based on the comments I'm guessing Sablin reunites the USSR only to become a horrific, genocidal maniac?
There is a great deal of lore in TNO about Russia, but to summarize (spoilers):
Sablin starts off leading a rebellion against an NKVD warlord (Genrikh Yagoda) based upon an idealistic, libertarian interpretation of Leninism. If he succeeds, he then goes on to try to recreate the USSR. Throughout the playthrough, the player, as Sablin faces a series of problems where Sablin must choose between staying true to the ideals which first sparked his revolution, or to go with more pragmatic, but far less idealistic solutions that more resemble the USSR under Bukharin (the one who succeeded Lenin in TNO instead of Stalin, who, while not establishing a regime as brutal as Stalin’s, was far from the idealistic communist system that Sablin first envisions when he launches his rebellion against Yagoda). Most of these comments are likely referring to the number of paths that some nations can take that seem “innocent,” for definite lack of a better word, at first, but turn out to be utter nightmares, as while Sablin can definitely end up creating a Bukharin-esque USSR, he doesn’t delve into things like genocide (though there are other Russian warlords that horrific, genocidal maniac only begin to describe how bad they are).
