MynameisBrianZX yeah, one liners and weird reactions is not John's forte, can we see and hear more of him just talking and playing? I feel like we're getting slighted here, post production cutting out band performance 🙄
The stuff they use him for now seems a bit awkward most of the time. I love these genuine interactions. He also had a great segment when he went to New Orleans with Stephen and he had some "Jon Batiste explains" things that were great.

Yes I agree. The deal should be that Jon stops practicing his scales and his comments during the monologue in exchange that they give Jon a little space to do more of what he did along with Steven to speak with the guests.
Phil G right?? Not gonna lie, I kind of hated Jon since what we mostly hear from him is, IMO, pretty annoying, but seeing him actually interact with someone (beyond the usual adlibbing and exaggerated laughter) was refreshing! He has way too much personality and character to be relegated to a sideshow/hype-man type role.
I just love Dominic Cooper!! He just A phenomenal actor Especially as young version of Howard Stark. ☺️💕

Yoda Man no, watch it! Its better than the first imo. The amazing performances of the younger versions of the cast, especially young Donna and Tanya, distracted from her death and the introduction of Cher completed the movie. And plus Donna shows up at the end as a spirit. Youre really not missing out much though with her not being there.
Yoda Man That's so childish. It's an amazing film with great music from ABBA and fantastic performances by the legacy cast as well as the young actors. Lily James is perfect as young Donna and really captures her spirit. You're missing out but go ahead and disrespect the movie even though Meryl has a fantastic scene in it. I don't get the obsession it's not like they killed Harry Potter or Katniss. Meryl didn't want a sequel and they do a perfect job with captioning the grief and emotion of Donnas death.
I want one of those.
