For 13 years too. And he’s also from Detroit, I remember being in a show way way back in the day and someone said something to him in the crowd and he straight up jumped to beat the crap out of that guy and all of d12 did too behind him. Everyone in the crowd beat the guy up and his friends and then he got kicked out after Eminem kicked the shit out of him.

But you know what's even worse? Not long after this came out, Eminem withdrew the lawsuit he had against The Sauce for leaking the "black girls" tape and Benzino thought they won. But what came after was FUCKING. EPIC. Interscope and their subsidiaries withdraw ALL their advertising from the publication. They lost millions in revenue. And the "I got XXL's number" stung even more when all that advertising went directly to XXL, hence they became bigger in a matter of weeks/months.

For the story the source magazine lost so many readers who bought XXL to this clash that the shareholders asked benzino to leave the source group. 😂😂😂

Yea em, 50 and Dre all aligned with XXL and the magazine basically became g-unit shady aftermath official publication for a year or two. Being the at the height of their success this pretty much destroyed the source lol.

He went in on him like this because Benzino dropped a diss record and said hed kill his daughter and that's when Em said fuck it and let him have it. He said in an interview he wasnt going to respond to him because of how terrible it was but once he heard Benzino say he was going to kill his daughter it was a wrap literally. He also said it gets wasnt on probation at the time he was going to walk into the studio he was recording in and beat the breaks off him. People don't know this man Em was taking boxing lessons back then and still does to this day.

I agree . This is his best diss . There are close seconds and thirds , but I think the way Eminem recorded this , puts it in front of the others. You can hear how frustrated and annoyed by that point . He just went straight for the jugular on this .
Nice reaction brother! Yeah Nail In The Coffin was hard, that beat especially and em’s cadence too. You could hear the emotion and conviction in his voice. I think he did ruffle the feathers and ring the bells that would lead to The Source’s downfall too yeah. As far as other disses go, i think the Quitter diss track was even harder when he was dissing Everlast, one of those guys who were part of the old rap group the house of pain and made that song “Jump Around and dropped three albums in the 90s. He just knew a lot about Everlast and completely dissected him on his career and bullied him on the track, making wordplay with and making fun of his heart condition and disses were just coming out like one after another, it was savagery, he then switched the whole beat up and paid homage to 2pac, flowed like him and dissed him like 2pac would and got d12 to jump in there before em came back in. XD. Be warned there is singing in the chorus though. There is also the Mariah Carey diss track The Warning which was very hard lol
