- This is my video for when I replaced inner tie rod, upper and lower control arms, wheel hub bearings and strut assembly on my 2006 Nissan Xterra (driver side).
Before doing this project I would strongly recommend to find more information and specific tools for safely removing ball joints and wheel hub bearings.
I haven't shown adjustments for camber bolts, I used one method which appears to be wrong. Please be cautious with adjustments and you have to go straight to alignment shop after this project. Find the closest to your place, don't take highway and avoid heavy traffic time (misalignment can lead to accident)

A free tip and take it for what it cost you. If you have the knuckle attached to the upper ball joint (and don't want to disconnect it) when replacing the lower ball joint you can place a jack under the knuckle and raise it up which will give you the ability to swing the lower control arm and align the lower ball joint, or you can barely start the end of the lower ball joint into the knuckle and pry up/jack up on the lower control arm and pressing inward on the bottom of the knuckle then it will align. This is how I did it on my Nissan Titan using a OTC 6007 Lower control arm pry tool that cost around $22.
Did you also use the OTC pry tool to disconnect the lower ball joint from the knuckle?
Just did this for our Frontier. Same tool, same socket adapter, worked perfectly
How do you get the inner tie rod to move more freely as he did
So I just used a pipe wrench on the inner tie rod…and it seemed easier then that special tool. Does anyone see a problem with that?

Good videos. My Xterra rear hatch lock is jammed locked so I can't open it. Any ideas?
I am sorry I would not be able to help with this, I haven't had an issue with mine before.
Have to take the back panel off and manually unlock latch. Then either get a new latch or grease and adjust old one.
I haven’t had it jammed locked, but loose and banging around. Just required to be adjusted.
Should have cleaned up the rust and painted it while you were in there. Keep it from rusting to death.
What did you torque the inner tie rod at?
Clearly an ugga dugga with that pipe extension.
