I listened to the entire position. It's the first time I've actually heard someone defend this position. I've heard the position, but never in this detail. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to look towards my father to seek him if this is true or not.
I will say that so many verses come to mind suddenly that I am unable to place when I look at this position (example - Isaiah 65:17-25, Zechariah 14), but I haven't had time to fully absorb the teaching yet.
I used to be a dispensationalist, but I finally stopped caring about what was popular and wanted Truth, so I sought it and I could not deny the scriptures (Romans 9:31-32) even though it was uncomfortable.
Early Church history taught the position of post tribulation rapture. It took a long time for me to absorb that we have joined true Israel also based on scripture. I've always been taught to reject these things until someone came at me with scripture to back it up.
It's taken me years, seeking Truth, to change my position on things, but by God's grace, I want Truth. I will pray about this as well.

Understanding Eschatology is not a prerequisite to eternal life. There will always be disagreement in the understanding of Eschatology and it has been like that since the Holy Spirit helped the church fathers to put canon of the scriptures together.
Eschatology can either help bring comfort in your expectations of when Christ will return but not guarantee your salvation.
Now and meanwhile we all need to focus on proclaiming the good news of the gospel and we need to baptize people in the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit.

This is where I struggle…. Our Glorious Lord, blessed us with discernment and I do believe that there are Teachers, like Voddie Baucham, who we can trust. Sound Doctrine is of the upmost importance for us and I learn from Pastor Baucham and Pastor MacArthur. Their theological teaching on this subject makes sense to me, however, their teachings are completely opposed to each other. I don’t know which way to go on this, but I’m convicted to just Trust Jesus Christ, our Lord. We must not argue about theological interpretations, amongst our fellow believers. Our Lord, is not the God of confusion, and I know that Victory is already won, in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen! Hallelujah! Let us trust Gods Will and timing, knowing our Salvation in Christ, while being salt and light to the world. Let us love others and preach the Good News, as Ambassadors of Christ. Sometimes, I feel unsure about so many debated theologies in Scripture, however, I will start with what I 100% do know to be true which is, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin and is the Son of God. He lived a perfectly righteous life as a Man. He was innocent, yet crucified bearing our sins on the tree, suffering God’s wrath for our iniquities. He Gloriously Rose three days later, defeating sin and death, and gave us the only way to Eternal Salvation and Eternal Fellowship with our Lord. Amen! Hallelujah! Praise Jesus!

Unfortunately friend, as I found out, they are both false teachers along with Paul washer. They are calvinists, and lordship salvation heretics. They teach doctrine opposed to scripture and twist scripture to fit their own false works based Gospel. That we must work as well as believe to be saved. This is false. Ephesians 2:8-9. They say there must by works to prove your saved. This is wrong. We should and will change if we are born again, it is not a requirement to be saved, because if you have trusted Jesus alone, you have been born again, which is a one time irreversible event. You cannot lose your salvation, because it’s a free gift that you did nothing to earn yourself :) amen 🙏

I have admired and respected John MacArthur for decades, but have had to agree to disagree agreeably with his Dispensationalism. I'm with R.C. Sproul (who was a close friend of John MacArthur but who also disagreed with his Dispensational premillennialism), and with Voddie Baucham as I think amillennialism and Covenant Theology are far more consistent with Scripture and internally than Dispensational premillennialism or for that matter with historic premillennialism.

The discernment you talked about, i believe to be the holy Spirit. I am just in total pain now, because Voddie said " he believes in our current time in which we live in..the devil is bound.
I just pray i took that wrong. But if i didn't then there's huge biblical problems with him saying that. If thats true why does the new testament say " the devil goes too and frow looking for whom he may devour" if that was true the apostle wouldn't have said " resist the devil and he will flee from you " baucham needs to give a better understanding on his version of what the bounding of the devil actually means. And to say that the great commission couldn't happen unless the devil is currently bound is in itself a huge biblical problem. I so wish he'd do Q.&A's this is the man that preached the sermon of all sermons called "Brokenness"

If you adopt the recapitulation interpretation as opposed to the chronological interpretation of Rev 19 and Rev 20 you have to explain this: The beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire in Rev 19 whereas Satan is cast into the lake of fire in Rev 20 “where the beast and the false prophet were,” which indicates that the events of Rev 20 follow Rev 19.
Also, it is difficult to accept the interpretation that Satan being sealed in a pit in 20:3 is to one specific purpose. The text doesn’t say Satan is free to wander about but has no authority to deceive nations, does it? Indeed, Revelation 12:9 describes Satan as the deceiver of the whole world. In Rev 13:14 the beast is deceiving those who dwell on the earth. And so on.

I have one of the greatest respects for pastor Bauchman. I have been so blessed by some of his teachings. Yet, my spirit stirs within me, (or better said) i am grieved.
For it so appears (And i pray i am wrong,) that Pastor Bauchman feels the binding of the devil is currently going on. The problem with that is my bible declares, that satan goes to and frow looking for who he might devour. If he was bound we wouldn't need to put on the armor of God. The apostle wouldn't have said, resist the devil and we will flee from you.
If he is bound currently how could he flee from anyone. Oh pastor Bauchman, this is most perplexing, i wish you would give a clearer sermon on this. Because if your wrong, than a false teaching was teached. I pray so hard i misunderstood or took it the wrong way. I am still patching up wounds from your sermon where you said "we shouldn't ask to know Gods will for us" oh lord my heart grieves, please show me what pastor bauchman is really saying..and if its what i originally thought it to be. Give me instruction. I understand I don't have to always agree with pastors teaching. But in this case, its one of your anointed, that i believe could be teaching something that I don't see in your holy word in the same manner. Open my understanding or instruct his to say in plan words this is what i meant. Bless him lord.

@KnowingGodExplorers Let me see if I can help you just a little. Satan is obviously bound. Before the resurrection, was God's Word and reign spread all over the earth or was it just in a teenie tiny nation called Israel? Yes there were a few throughout the land who worshipped the one true God, but Satan was given free reign over the majority of the earth's populace. But what happened when Satan was bound at the resurrection? A complete explosion of Christ's obvious reign over the entire globe, spreading to every tribe, tongue and nation. Satan was and is clearly, clearly bound and the gospel is unleashed all over the earth!
I would encourage you to not take words like "bound" and limit its meaning to what we assume such a word means. It is vital to understand that in apocalyptic literature, words are heavily symbolic (example: John "heard 144,000, and when I turned around he saw a number no on could count." So was it 144,000 or not? It wasn't. We don't take the literal, furthest possible meaning of 144,000 **in this context of apocalyptic literature**).

He was clear. He points to the limited phrasing of bound from deceiving the nations. Then, he goes on to expound scripture of how other verses relate to that. From I saw Satan fall to having taken (past tense) to every people group(the word being used for nation.) The problem is twofold, one being that for most of church history, dispensationalism didn't exist let alone be the primary view, but two, that is incredibly arrogant for us to assume we can ve so sure of the most complex book, that we become so rigid on the topic.

    • @RoberttHarris
      @RoberttHarris Месяц назад +2

If Satan was not "bound" yet, then none of us would be here today, Satan would have already destroyed the church, the earth and everything else.
Rev. 20 tells us just before the end of this age, Satan will be loosed from this "binding" and given power to destroy even the saints. Likewise, Jesus said in Mt. 24:21, 22 that if those days were not shortened, no flesh would survive, but for the elects sake, they will be shortened.
You don't even want to know the kind of destruction Satan is capable of, left to his own devices.
It sounds like you are looking for truth, but you are still guided by dispensational theology, which, in my opinion will only hinder your attempt to understand eschatology.
Hope this helps, it took me 3 years to leave behind my dispensational hermeneutic. Hope this helps, blessings.

Just going to take a stab at this as someone who doesn't hold an Amil view and just found out Voddie was Amil so I watched this video. So, don't take this too seriously, I'm just using your comment as a test to see if I can articulate the Amil view on your questions.
-From his view I believe the tribulation would be now. As John says in Revelation 1:9 that he is a partaker in the tribulation.
-The anti-christ is a general belief that is anti-god or anti-Jesus, there isn't just one single anti-christ as stated in 1 John 2:18. "Antichrist is coming and many antichrists have come"
-The mark of the beast is the opposite of "The Mark Of God" which is also on our hands or forehead. Duet. 6:6-8 and multiple places in Revelation like 9:4. And the mark of God is anybody who follows and lives out their faith in God. So the mark of the best would be anybody who doesn't do that, they have chosen to take the mark of Satan by rejecting God.
-The "Single ruler" I'm not sure what he would say on this, maybe not just the Roman Empire or a person but probably more related to the individual spirit of the antichrist that has united all non-believers.
-The 3rd temple was built with us Christians who are now the temple of God. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
-The two prophets likely represent two testimonies that satan seemingly defeated but came back to life through the Gospel? Maybe like when Hadrian in 130 AD tried to destroy the testimony of all the Christian sites by creating pagan temples on all of them, which only preserved their locations and were uncovered years later because they marked the locations (lol). Something like that but again their view is likely not 2 actual people but two ideas or themes. Also "seeing" would just refer to knowing something about it. Like a lot of people having heard the Gospel.

@MattWard89 I hear what you are saying, and I appreciate and listen to voddie as well. I just feel like the A-millenial and post-mellenial views use a lot of symbolism as opposed to taking the text literally. Their views seem like a stretch or mental gymnastics to make the text fit their views. I definitely could be wrong, but I just can't see how this is the millennium or how 70ad was the tribulation. Especially if you look to the old Testament for pictures of what the millennial kingdom will look like. I appreciate your time in answering my questions.

    • @MattWard89
      @MattWard89 Месяц назад +1

@@JesusSaves373 Yeah it's difficult but I think the difference is taking it "physically" vs "literally". Since all the main eschatology views agree that much of Revelations is symbolic, they merely disagree on particular points being symbolic. ie. Nobody thinks the sword coming out of Jesus' mouth is a "Physical" sword but everybody takes it literally that the Word of God and the power of Jesus' word is a sword as a concept. So, in this case, to take the passage literally would NOT mean taking it at face value but using the Bible's context as a whole to help interpret.
To me this seems to be the case with the ~10% people disagree on which is "Symbolic-Literal" vs "Physical-Literal" that all the views have a debate over. 1000 literally represents a long time or literally 1000 rotations around the sun as the main example.
Personally I've got to remain humble when studying all these because I was raised Pre-Mill Pre-Trib Dispensational and the way it was growing up was that that view was THE WAY to interpret it and it wasn't until I was an adult that I even heard of there being other views. Like, I was raised that if you had a different view of the pre-mid-post TRIBULATION it was basically a heresy. lol Let alone the millennium.
All that being said, I've spent a fair amount of time over the years trying to look into "what's right" and it's proven to be more difficult than I'd have thought. For example, the earliest christians 1,2,3 century believed in a physical reign or millennium. But NOT the same way most think for the pre-mil disp view. Then after a few hundred years it was majority post/A-mil until the 1800's when pre-mil disp came about.
Personally, I'm at peace with where I'm at now but I hold many of these views loosely since I could very well be wrong. One way or another we will find out for sure. lol

I previously had an encounter with a demon whom seemed to offer me a deal, which I declined (spring 2014). It was one of those sleep paralysis apparition things. I remember thinking at the time, “If I believed in any of this, I would choose God.” That’s when it disappeared. It still took another 5ish years to make me a believer. Anyway, during that audible experience, one of the things He said to me was, “Something bad is coming.” He never said “rapture,” and it seems that when I read Scripture for myself, I drift toward a Preterist view. (Josephus reported an army being seen in the clouds when the Second Temple went down. I haven’t read Tacitus, but he’s supposed to have a similar account.) Anyway, I think that a lot of us are receiving end times dreams, Rapture dreams, or mere notions to that effect because we are approaching a critical period on par with such a time. My current suspicion is that those having rapture dreams in which they are taken up (as opposed to returned) are going to perish en masse in a nuclear war or comparable mass event. I could use prayers on this. I’ve never been able to find a proper teacher either. I get little nudges from Him, but not answers to all the questions that upset me… I’m kind of a brat that way, I suppose. Anyway, I could use some help here, if you happen to see this.
May GOD bless you and your loved ones, in Jesus’s name: Amen.
Amendment: How much time passed between the completion of Solomon’s Temple and the destruction of the Second Temple? Roughly 1,000 years? I’m probably wrong.

No tribulation as described in Revelation and it all being symbolic and there not really being a literal mark…wow, that seems like a crap shoot that you better be an elected member of the family of God otherwise you have no clue on things except to say the symbolism is impossible to understand. He has confused me so much on this topic that I fear if I spent too much time listening to him I would give up and say it is all just a roll of the dice anyway so why even try, so then why does Paul say the people who read these words are blessed when figuring out the movie National Treasure seems to be easier than understanding Revelation with Bauchman’s interpretation. Maybe there is no place for simple people and only the Nicolas Cage and Voddie Baucham’s of the world will figure out this mystery.

Because of what Jesus spoke in the parables of Matthew, and revelations speaking of this age and the Age to come is exactly why I think the "taking away" or rapture is the taking away of the wicked, like in the flood of Noah. and that will happen after the millennium, 2nd resurrection and white throne judgement. In the parables he says the Kingdom of heaven is likened unto various things, but the content of a lot of those parables referenced the changing of the age, and give us a lot of insight. Jesus told us to look into the parables for knowledge of the Kingdom.
Matthew 13 10:16 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear
While yes Christ comes and saves us, we are not the twelve. We still need to look in the parables for the knowledge, God speaks through his word and through these parables I believe our eyes can be opened.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
So paul is saying what? The ones not in the dark it wont happen like a thief in the night.
The church has been lying for a long time. Scripture clearly states the wicked will be taken.
From Matthew, to revelations all the way back to genesis. in the days of Noah who was taken away the good or wicked?
proverbs 2:22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. in the parables the tares are taken bound and burnt before the wheat is gathered into the barn...

John was given a full view, not a glimpse of the new kingdom, of the new heaven, new earth. The coming of Christ, ALL of the end time events, the first resurrection and the 2nd...But he wasn't given the secret to the rapture?

Ah me everything Vodie preached I eagerly devoured until this. So what happened to Ezekiel's temple Ez 40-48? Did God just threw that in for filler. Read what the Apostle Paul says in Rom 11:1-25. Culminating with verse 25:
Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
So what is this fulness of the Gentiles?
This is a good example of why everyone needs to be a student of scripture and not just blindly depend on pastors and teachers. The scriptures are not that hard to understand if one is born again led by the Holy Spirit.
Consider the following scriptures taking into consideration it has been almost 2000 years since Jesus' crucifixion:
Hos 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
Hos 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
2Pe_3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Yes, we as individuals testify about the Gospel of Christ. But there are those who's gift it is to preach the gospel in mass to the nations. But it is every believers job to disciple one another and to pray. Some plant, some water but I will add. But we all should disciple.

Was the Scofield the first Study Bible? No. The Geneva Bible came long before the Scofield and it was not Dispensational. The reason the Scofield became popular is because it was the theology of the populace. It did not spread Dispensationalism so much as it presented what everyone believed. It was an excellent Study Bible that people found very helpful and it still sells excellently today. The people buying the Scofield do not always agree with all the notes (I know, a shocker, right?) The same goes for the movies and books, they were popular because it agreed with what people already believed. Now I have heard some admit that they did not agree at all with the theology in these books but loved reading them. But Voddie is adopting excuses off the internet for why his theology is not popular and the theology he is opposing is not. Well instead of a bunch of scapegoats, he needs to realize that the theology he is opposing comports with what people read in their Bibles and not with what he is promoting.

I've followed you all the way to this point. But now you're interpreting the scriptures with opinion. Unless it clearly states that this is not literal which it does not you can't say this. Let's first start with Jesus said the time and the hour NO ONE knows but the Father! Because man classified each book as he pleases does not make it fact! The Bible is to be literal. If you start saying it's not literal then in your own words you are discrediting the whole of the Bible. You tear down every argument for the Bible for God for Jesus for The Holy Spirit. Please don't grieve the Holy Spirit with man's interpretation. Just because it may scare or even increase your content with these things. Please stick to the scriptures and read exactly as it says. Don't reinterpret. Also remember don't hate the sinner hate the sin. Jesus didn't go around harshly bashing. I too am growing in the spirit each day the Lord allows me to even take a second of breath. I still through Christ Jesus realize that I have so many fallacies and have never nor will never be perfect. I know that doing the ministry of Paul and Peter they did not have seminaries and schools to help them Study and break down these scriptures from what we call now the New Testament. These where revealed to them by Jesus and through Jesus. So why then do we have schools with hypocrisy. "Pastors, preachers and teachers" that all have there spin on these texts? I know this the Bible says what it means. If it is allegory it will clearly say prior to reading allegory. It does not. You yourself have brought into the deception. I'll pray for you. You have pride to its very clear. What you say is not absolute. It is not final. And tell me this if Satan has been bound up already why was there the crusades, waring over lands countries and kingdoms? Why was there the inquisitions and such unthinkable torture in the beginning until the end of the middle ages or such evil after the fall of the Roman empire. No I am not a philosophy student. I don't even have a degree. But I have faith and belief in the one true savior Jesus Christ I believe in God creating the world in 6 days and that on the 7th he rested. I believe Jesus is God. I believe that the Holy Spirit was with Daniel. I believe that prior the Jesus saving my life from the wrath of God I was dead in my sins. I believe that Job was a faithful servant. You can take your wisdom scriptures and I'll take the unadulterated Bible(s). Please just stop/don't dilute the Bible and just teach it correctly! Remember you will be held to a higher fault. You have a flock to Teach. Don't mislead God's sheep. Please!

The prophetic 1000 years millennium parallels the seventh day. YESHUA is coming soon!
Satan knew that he had but a short time because Satan knew the Scripture.
    For instance, Exodus 20: 8,9 commands…
    (8) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
    (9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

The millennium proves that “Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:“ was a command meant not only for humanity, but also for Satan.

Because at the end of 6000 years (his six days), Satan during millennium (1000 years/seventh day) will be forced to stop his work and rest.

The sabbath millennium will certainly be kept holy when disobedient Satan is bound, and the disobedient wicked remain bound in their grave until time for their resurrection.
When I looked up the end of 6000 years, it is said to be between 2028 and 2033. Depending upon accuracy - that could be from 4 years to 9 years.

Makes the claim that the first 3 verses of re 20 are some of the most difficult.
They are not difficult in the least if you let Scripture speak and mean what it says. Well he has to set the passage up that way because he is bringing in the wrecking crew. The only reason it is controversial only for him is because he does not want to accept what Scripture explicitly states. Why? well, it destroys his kingdom-now theology.

2 Timothy 2:15 study to show thy self approved unto God a workman who needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. I love Voddie as a brother in Christ but this is false teaching. He believes the kingdom is here but it was put on hold at the stoning of Steven. Then Paul went out to gentiles with the mystery “the body of Christ” Romans thru Philemon. For if the mystery was made known they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of Glory. Hebrews thru Jude is for Israel not to the body. Which explains why doctrine doesn’t match to what Paul preached. The must be divisions the Holy Bible is for us but not all is to us. God deals with men differently during certain times.

Yes the key represents authority. Nations are the people - Satan is bound from deceiving the people of all the nations during Christ's earthly reign. Chain, (a fetter or manacle, bonds, chain.) - Everywhere used in the NT, chain is to be understood by the plain meaning of the text, so in this chapter should also be understood by the plain reading, that it is a means of binding - not really symbolic but a simile. The first symbol in the Revelation is the candlestick representing the church, Another one is the word beast, symbolic for a nation or ruling power in the earth. If the Bible did not directly give us the interpretation of these symbols in the text, we couldn't even guess, because they are not even similar! But a simile needs no interpretation as it will be easily understood. So the comparison is specious. So we know that when we get to ch. 11 the temple of God is the church, as Jesus and Paul taught us, confirmed by the two witnesses being called to olive trees and two candlesticks! both symbols for the true church,,,

Can’t agree with Voddie on this.
Love ya Voddie, but can’t agree.
Rev 20 is a continuation of chapter 19 . Chapters are not inspired, they were created by Steven Langton the Arch Bishop of the 13th century. He placed chapters and breaks.l in the Bible to make it easier, but in some ways did it an injustice.
There are many chapters that have breaks in incorrect places.
    As for the Millinium
    We are not in it.
    Just one reason,
David’s throne is not in Heaven and Christ is going to sit in David’s throne. It’s on earth in Jerusalem.
Also, if you think the Millinium is not literal, then you can’t believe in the 6 day creation.
Also, you remove the Diety of Christ and His Virgin birth and thus you basically cannot believe the resurrection.
    Revelation
Write the things which thou hast seen:
    The Vision of Christ
    Rev chapter 1
    And the things which are:
    The Seven Churches
    Rev chapter 2 & 3
And the things which shall be hereafter:
    Which follows after the churches
    Chapters 4 and 22
I am kind of shocked that Voddie believes the Bible is Allegorical and not Literal.
Just doesn’t make sense, it’s like reading a History book and believing half of the first chapter, but not the last chapter. And wishy washy in the middle.
Or believing the middle timeline of the civil war, but not the beginning or end.
Or saying the Germans were the good guys and no Jews.
The Galilean Jewish Wedding is a beautiful picture of the Bride- Groom and Bride and whole sense of the church.
Fantastic study on Revelation is Chuck Missler and. Study 23 of Revelation 20 breaks down the timeline…
Makes far more sense than what Voddie is teaching.
And I am NOT slamming Voddie, I love Voddie.
Just don’t agree with him in this one.

The next event on God's prophetic calendar, is the Rapture of the church, all true believers. Then the 7 year tribulation period, with the rise of the antichrist and his one world government, then Christ's physical return to earth, His 2nd coming, to put an end to the war of Armageddon, then the literal 1000 year reign on earth of Jesus Christ, the millennial period, then the great white throne judgement of all unbelievers, and then the new Heaven and new Earth, eternity.

Mr. Martin, we've all heard the Dispensational theology, which is why we no longer partake in its errors. You are welcome to disagree with Voddie, as the doctrine of eschatology is not essential for salvation.
And your claim of 11 years of studying the topic, affords you the ability to hold to your conclusion.
But to sit here and call out one of the greatest preacher's of our time as wrong, shows everyone that you're closed minded and that you are simply trolling.
You stated the other day that Revelation should be taken literally. That statement alone shows you "want" it to be so literal that you're willing to solely view it with a very flawed presupposition.
For instance, the 144,000.you probably believe will be the jews "saved" during a tribulational period after your secret rapture. The problem is, where will you find 144k Virgin males to repent and believe? Why are women excluded? And the list is out of birth order. As the 66th book.in our Canon, it's the only one that is out of birth order. For a jew, this would render John non-credible.... unless it's symbolic. I know, I'm Jewish.
Perhaps you should move along. I'm sure David Jeremiah's fan page would welcome your sentiments. But this constant appeal to your flawed eschatological take is wearisome.
Good news is we probably share essential doctrinal agreements. So, we'll see you in Glory land where none of this matters per our salvation.

Sorry but you're wrong about the rapture. There will be a rapture (Harpazo in Greek). Eschatology is not your strong suit. Tiff Shuttlesworth has 50 yrs of Eschatology studies on you. There will be a pre trib rapture and pre-millenillum. Pastor & Evangelist Shuttlesworth can explain it to you. Even those in your own camp ALL disagree with you.

So Dr Baucham. Because you take the thousand year reign as not literal but an analogy because the book is full of analogies like we have in the parables. Not real events. So do we use our own wisdom to determine what is literal and what isn't. My humble opinion is every Christian should stop listening to sermons from teachers and preachers until or unless we ourselves spend a lot of time in the word, and then we can test what we hear.. And praying for God's wisdom and discernment. The confusion and strife experts bring to the church is mind boggling. Unless that is that the Holy Spirit will not teach us and only teach, preachers, teachers and theologians. No wonder the way is straight and the gate is narrow and few are that find it.
