That last meme actually makes a really good point. I'm home schooled, but from what I've heard my old friends say, tests and exams are a nightmare.
Tests and exams are not beneficial to learning a subject. They exist to please the system, to assign an arbitrary number that measures how stupid a child is. This value has literally no other purpose. Of course, the system that measures and assigns these values is also completely arbitrary and can and will change at any moment. As a bonus, these values can be used at home as a justification of needlessly cruel punishment for the child's apparent stupidity. It's one thing that an arbitrary system calls you, a 7yo child stupid, but then your dad beats you with his belt for it.

You didn't memorize these meaningless concepts as well as little Sally, who always gets 100% and is not supid, unlike you.

Most spiders are light enough, and can spread their weight out enough, to walk on water. Self propelled motion across water without a boat could be interpreted as swimming. The larger and heavier tarantula still floats very well and can propel itself with it's legs in water. Yes, spiders can swim.

I used to have a big problem with pens dying before all their ink was used. Especially the pen I kept in the car to fill out my tax logbook. Then I accidentally bought a disposable fountain pen. It was only $5 and lasted in the car for 4 years, and only died when it ran out of ink.
I now only use disposable fountain pens - and have completely drained 3 more of them, with none dying prematurely.
And because people don't know how to use fountain pens, they think they're already dead, so no-one has STOLEN any of my pens, either.
