I have yet to see a video covering this but running a kick through this thing will make even a bland knack sound like a deep heavy hitter. And some clever CV on the res, you got an instant bass line.
Wow I was in the market for a new comb, after reading it’s functions I had the feeling it would get comb like with this stereo filter madness It’s maybe another level of combing So beautiful thanks
Everything you say about QPAS is right. So is the way you use it. Great patch! However, since I‘m not a techno guy I‘d like to add that QPAS can also be used in way less dirty ways, in fact, with the right amount of modulation and the interplay between the VCA, Q and RABIATE plus the !!¡¡s you can achieve from percussive to melodic timbres that will work in any style... Yeah, I‘m diggin it, too!
Excellent video sir, sounding great as always. Would you ever consider doing a video on your favorite oscillators? I would be interested in your opinion.
@@mikegeary8056 I will check that out also. Right now I mainly use an Erica Black VCO and a Noise Engineering Ataraxic Iteritas. I have a Doepfer VCO also, but I never use it so I’ve been thinking about getting something else.
You will get more mileage out of DiPole, but it’s much harder to get right. Qpas is quick and easy. You should look at Rossum Linnaeus as well, easy to dial in and sounds great.
@@Oilpanicmusic yeah I've actually had the dipole for awhile now. I was debating the qpas or the dipole and I'm happy with the dipole. I think either would be great.

Your demos are always high energy Joey . Thanks for giving my QPAS a new lease on life!
Love this filter, thanks for turning me onto it and the spectraphon! Those two have so much harmonic generative capabilities, it’s insane!

It never ceases to amaze me the noise little bendy pulses of electricity can make
Love the shirt! and now I need this :) was looking for a good stereo filter, and sold on the VCA :)
i have no need, money, or space for another filter but the QPAS is the best sounding filter i’ve ever heard. the resonance is so musical!
It’s great because it basically only resonates frequencies that are already there. So it becomes music quickly.

Really great character and tone
Excellent again mate. Love the fact it has CV for the amp
QPAS never leaves my wishlist. It's got so much special sauce, I'm going to have to get one soon.
Just listened to this whole video as background music for no reason and it was really dope. I really need to get around to checking out your tracks!
Love the Blush reviews.
That black stillson hammer mk2 panel lovely
good heavens this sounds fantastic
Normally I try to stay away from stereo in my modular but this is the exception, awesome how even on a iphone the sounds jump out the speakers.

Nice use of qpas here!

His favorite wave table oscillator is the Piston Honda III. It is also mine.
@@mikegeary8056 thank you sir. I shall check that out.
@@mikegeary8056 I’ve kind of been in the market for a new oscillator for my eurorack.
@@levkamenev3904 if you like digital oscillators that have an incredibly wide sound pallet you can not go wrong with IME VCO’s.

cool AF. Thanks for sharing.
Good lord that thing can honk!
love the idum
Holy fcku, these sounds are madd! +1 Sub
QPAS or SSF Stereo Dipole?
Dipole vs Qpas? Which is your favorite?
Dipole is more versatile, but a lot harder to dial in.
"dont forget to modulate your modulation " eric schlappi
feed it some gates and it's a voice on it's own!
Desert island would you choose the qpas or ssf stereo dipole?
Only someone with serious GAS will choose Eurorack modules when going to a deserted island.
