I use Google Translate, Excellent videos, I've been a simulator for 14 years, I have a Kodiak 100, perfect machine, I've already received a thumbs up, and a subscriber. Watching all the steps of the Kodiak, which you carried out. Grateful.

I'm very glad you are enjoying them and hope I'm not too hard to understand!

Thanks for this! Of all the things your tried to teach me today, what I *got* was an explaination why I'd tick a checklist item and the highlight wouldn't move to the next item. :D Also, SWS must not have released this version yet (even after 2 months) because as of today (03-09-23) the retail version checklist contains many errors and omissions that I'm seeing are fixed in your beta version.

The version I'm using in all the videos has been released (I only got the update a few days before general release) Not sure if the update has come out yet in MSFS marketplace - but I thought it had.

@@alpinebravo7090 Interesting; I just bought this direct from SWS yesterday, and the differences in the checklists are noticeable. Well, I'd ask over on their discord, but somehow discord thinks I've already used my phone number on another account, so I can't sign up. Sheesh! Once I get that sorted hopefully I can ask there. Thanks for the reply!

That in the Floatiak? It will have different check lists as it's a pitch-latch propeller

@@alpinebravo7090 Oh...yep, the Flotiak. But IIRC, the first difference in the checklist that was noticeable is that there should be 2 entries like you see at 3:46; a "master switch" and an avionics master. In the flotiak there's only a single entry: "master avionics switch" listed. :-) Little things like that. Not deal breakers, just a bit annoying.

@@wilddoktor Understood - you should report these to SWS. Although I use the in-sim checklists in the tutorials, I actually use a paper version of the IRL checklist - its a lot faster than clicking through the menu

If you add subtitles to the video, it will be much more helpful for non-English-speaking countries to understand the contents.

Erm, ok if I can figure out how to do that without having to type a full transcript. Hopefully some AI tool will do that.

I've enabled auto captioning now. Cant promise that it is super accurate, but hopefully that will help you and other non-native english speakers out.
