- Curation team members from the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) division at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston perform a pour maneuver to distribute the remaining asteroid sample material from the OSIRIS-REx Touch-and-Go Sample Acquisition Mechanism (TAGSAM) head into sample containers. The team includes:

Thank you. @NASA - Questions: To be clear, you are pouring the remainder of the overflow material into the collection trays below? Was the South and East pouring directions based on the amount of material already in the trays? Were you trying to provide an overall even distribution of material to all trays? How many grams did you pour? Thank you.
Our 1’st samples brought back from our moon visit was about 80 to 200lbs of samples.
Today we have a breakthrough to bring these samples by use of satellites it’s interesting to stay focused on our near visitor being studied like opafus
