    You can do it. I've got 7 years in December from Klonopin and Xanax, quiting was really hard. I went thru 2 years of terrible vertigo and body spasms but it was worth it. What triggered the journey was I couldn't skateboard anymore because I had severe "benzo brain". After the 2 year mark it does start to get exponentially better, I know from personal experience.

    Patrick, I just want to tell that I am very proud of you. It's nice to see you smile a bit and just listen to all the progress you have made. My heart stands with you through this and I will continue to pray for a safe journey through and for protection over your mind and your body. The Lord loves you and He is close to you, Patrick . I pray for peace also over your mind and your body. I also pray for good health and that the Lord keeps you strong always. God bless you, Patrick! You are never alone. You are greatly loved by so many. Thanks for the update. Take care. 🙏🤗

    LOVVVE seeing your progress! I know you’re not fully recovered yet, but this is wonderful and very encouraging to others who might not be seeing any progress in their own lives yet. If everyone will continue to stay determined and work hard through the suffering, they too will see progress. And I love the way you track your steps, your calories and your medication and all of your progress so that way you’ve got tangible proof in your hand at the progress you’ve made. When people are in the midst of not feeling well, it’s hard to see progress. I would encourage everybody to do like you do and start tracking theirs as well because they might be making improvements and not even realize it at the moment because of their still feeling bad. AWESOME NEWS! You’re getting there! And I love that you also give Christ the credit for helping you have strength to endure what you’ve been through and have faith that He’s going to complete the good work he started in you. He’s got plans for you to use all of this somehow in your life. Even like you’re doing here like helping others. ❣️

    I’ve been through exactly what you’re going through sweetie and I’m not going to lie I wouldn’t wish it on anybody because it’s pure hell and it’s evil ! What helped me the most to get through it was to shut myself in away from the outside world and I curled up on my couch and I prayed and prayed and prayed for God to help me and he did !!! He will help you too sweetie bless you always ! 💞🙏🏻💞

    Your videos give me inspiration to keep going and have hope. I am almost a year off xanax, my physical symptoms are less now, but the mental symptoms, ( weird thoughts like Am I really exist? How my mind is working? Is this really my life and my people, around me? ) are so much disturbing that I lose hope to recover. These were not as severe and frequent while I was tapering. Do you have these types of mental issues other than dpdr or confusion?

    Wow thats a LOT of progress!! It really is. I must have been kindled from previous Valium years ago so I took now for about 10 days ATIVAN and now have to taper for 1 month! Once you are done never ever take another benzo more than ONE TIME IN HOSPITAL IF REALLY NEEDED. that is all I can take without issues apparently or my body will latch on immidiayely nearly! I'm stunned! Having to taper because of only 10 days low dose Ativan. Are you serious? I'm down to equivalent 0.5mg valium and still have to watertaper mini doses due to dizzyness , musclepain and nausea!! I do have some preexisting healthissues making this worse though but I am thinking I'm kindled even i seemingly got of valium with no issues last time. Was on it for 4 months and got off only with gabapentin and now totally different. I don't know why!

  • @yalna3140

    I have as well dizzyness, abdominal issue, nausea, muscle cramps, ringing ears, tiredness. In the beginning it started with akathisia. I took Ativan for a short time only yet i got all those symptoms. It is just cycling through them faster but still i got many of them including burning of face.

    Funny/not funny, because of akathesia I paced around my house up to 20 hours a day for about 6 months. I am normally 220lbs. I lost 45 lbs during w/d. I have since gained it all back.
    All the sensitivities you are listing are such nightmares for me I have a hard time remembering them all. Light, sound, colors, all over the top! Like being on acid.

    • @Patricksbenzowithdrawal
      @Patricksbenzowithdrawal  Месяц назад

      I’m sorry to hear your situation, for me I do have family here to help me but please don’t let me or anyone else scare you. Be informed of the reality, yes, but do not expect it! Keep in mind MANY people are able to come off, even after long periods of time, with very little issue! Yes it can get back but it definitely doesn’t for everyone so don’t so into it expecting bad. Best thing is make sure your doctor is willing to work with you on slowly tapering and if they aren’t then find one that will. Go slowly and cut as you’re able to tolerate and try not to give it much thought! And remember, even for us who do have a horrible time we eventually heal. No im not there yet but I am seeing improvements which if you’d asked me a year ago I never would’ve believed. Everyone who has gone through it before and had a horrific time ends up saying it gets better.
      You aren’t in it alone, even with no one right there with you the online communities can be great resources as long as you don’t let them scare you. People can be extremely helpful and supportive. We’re all in it together!

    Hi, Are you off now? Or still tapering? I suppose you were tapering valium, that you have switched over from xanax. In your older videos, I saw that you were on half a mg of klonopin also. Did you also taper it off ?

    • @Patricksbenzowithdrawal
      @Patricksbenzowithdrawal  Месяц назад

      My story is a bit of a mess, I was originally on Xanax from 2019 until late 2022, attempted switch to Valium which didn’t work so went back to Xanax. Couldn’t taper very well with Xanax so my doctor switched me to Klonopin, tried that and was still unable to taper very well so went back to Xanax. Finally in January of this year I was successfully able to fully cross over to Valium to finish off my taper. I worked with my doctor trying to find an easier option as I was in pure misery 24/7, looking back I realize all of the changes destabilized me further and were a mistake. As of now I’ve only been on Xanax since January of this year and have cut from 8 down to 4mg of it which I am holding on to allow myself to stabilize a bit before finishing off my taper

    • @Radhey2223
      @Radhey2223 Месяц назад

      @@Patricksbenzowithdrawal yeah, all the changes, cross over to different benzo destabilize our nervous system in some ways . So now you have been tapering valium since January. and you are down to 4 mg of valium. I hope you will finish it off soon.
      I watched your videos, it's really unfortunate that medical overmedication and miss diagnosis caused your life in sufferings and misery. I am also in this brutal journey after a COVID booster in early 2022 had a very bad impact on my nervous system, I had all the frightening symptoms, and doctors treated me with AD and xanax, they never helped me, so it has been 11 months since I am off, but the sufferings are still on, though it is getting better now.
      I wish you all the best in your smooth tapering and good luck for your healing.🙏
